My son has been attending the junior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program for almost 2 years at Affinity Academy, and our experience has been great. Both Coach Jack and Coach Avery are excellent. I have heard positive things from other parents about the other coaches too. The nice thing about the academy is the parents can watch the class, which I do, and it's nice to see the kids grow in their skills. I started the tiny ninjas program with my younger son, and we both really enjoy it. I feel like the skills learned are very practical, and will transfer well once he ages into the junior program.

Affinity Academy was instrumental in saving our lives. I brought them a traumatized, neurodivergent thirteen year old, and every one of the coaches met us where we were - even though they didn't know everything. The coaches are all excellent coaches - they know BJJ and know how to teach and train people. And they are all excellent humans. In part because of them, that 13 year old with PTSD and other things has grown into a confident, independent 18 year old who is now blazing a wonderful new path we never could have predicted. I can't say enough positive things about our time at Affinity - and my kiddo still loves Jiu Jitsu - probably always will. THANK YOU.

Absolutely phenomenal class! The hosts and teachers were all extremely respectful of any and all circumstances regarding enrollment. The experimental classes were top tier. Everyone was extremely encouraging and friendly regardless of skill level and immediately made me feel welcomed and appreciated for even trying in the first place! Highly recommend and will be back soon!

We went to Affinity while visiting Calgary. The instructors were wonderful, and the other students were great to train with. For our kids we recommend this gym.
