I first met Chris when I required advice on the transfer of a pension for me. From the moment that we first spoke, in late 2017, his approach to and the facilitating of the transfer, was extremely smooth and expeditious, giving me the result that I needed. He is very approachable and exceptionally knowledgeable in the financial matters that affect me and producing a long-term financial plan for me and my family. Throughout the many meetings that we have had since, he has explained everything in layman’s terms, and any consequences associated with such a decision. The decisions that have been made have been efficient and profitable. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Chris, and the team at Agile, to anyone needing financial and pension advice, and I am very happy that he is on my side!

Having been made redundant during Covid times, I wondered whether my wife and I could afford to retire early or needed to look for another position in my late fifties. We needed some financial advice. Chris Thorpe from Agile Financial Advisors was recommended to us by a friend who had received financial advice from Chris for a couple of years and was very impressed with his friendly personality and detailed financial advice. We contacted Chris, had a ‘face to face’ at home and discussed our situation. Chris drew up a detailed financial report and recommendations for pensions and investments and we made our decisions from there. We have also benefited from advice on estate planning, wills, LPA’s etc. Chris and his team are always available and very helpful if we have any questions. We currently have an annual review of our financial situation which gives us peace of mind. We would highly recommend Chris and Agile Financial Advisors for anyone looking for independent financial advice.

We teamed up with Chris after we returned to the UK after spending 20 years in South Africa as we needed someone trustworthy and reliable to advise us on how best to invest our funds. We approached Chris after seeing an advert in a publication and arranged a meeting. After listening to his advice and suggestions we put our trust in him and invested in a financial portfolio which has performed well. Also, as a senior couple, we needed to update our wills and secure the future for ourselves and our children by putting Power of Attorneys in place, which Chris was very happy to do for us and we now have peace of mind knowing that all our financial bases are covered. It is very nerve-wracking trusting someone with your life savings but I have no hesitation at all in recommending Chris and his company to anyone who needs financial advice and help.

I wanted some professional advice regarding my finances as part of planning for retirement. Having looked at the Agile website which was very clear on the process & the charges, along with the reviews, I didn’t hesitate to setup a meeting with them. I met Cindy and felt at ease talking to her about my finances and what I was looking for. Cindy confirmed I had previously taken a lot of the right financial decisions and through the multiple cashflow projections we reviewed together I now have a clear plan take me up to retirement. It’s been a month since I moved my pension as advised by Cindy in order to realise a better growth rate and so far it’s performing well. Overall Im very pleased with my experience with Cindy & the team at Agile.

We wanted to look at our options as we near retirement but being honest (and very risk averse ) we were sceptical about taking financial advice as we didnt need someone telling us no risk no gain, we preferred to leave our money in the bank where it was safe. However after a recommendation from a friend we contacted Agile for a free chat - nothing to loose there. Well it turned out we had everything to gain. Cindy. Chris and the whole team have been fantastic. Cindy listened to our concerns and then drew up a plan for us which we we were comfortable with but made our money work for us. We are now on track to make our retirement a reality much earlier than we thought we could afford. Our appointments have all been arranged to fit around our work schedules meaning Cindy and Chris have worked late. The software used is very visual making things easy to follow and provides 24 /7 access to their portal. Documents are clear and informative. When we have had a question [and there have been many!] Cindy and Chris have been available to respond. We were so happy with the service and advise we went onto use Agile for our wills and probate service. We have no reservations recommending Agile.
