Arrived 15 minutes early and was not greeted at all. Seemed as if no one was even in the store. I waited 15 minutes and rang the bell on the door a couple times. Still no response. I ended up walking towards the back to see if anyone was there and the singular employee was in the corner fast asleep. I just walked out. Waste of my time.

I am sure their haircuts are fine, but the customer service wasn’t! First time customer, made an appointment. Arrived fifteen minutes early, wasn’t greeted. Waiting until 20 minutes after my appointment, time..still wasn’t greeted properly and was told from down the hall a couple minutes. Waited another 20 minutes, told 2-3 more minutes. After that time was up, I figured I take my business elsewhere. Understand staffing may be low, but there was no quality communication to alleviate another appointment going well beyond the time when I was supposed to be getting my haircut. Don’t recommend unless you want to be on the salons time.

I highly recommend. I've been going to Tommy for short hair cut and beard for the past 8 months and he's the most thorough, meticulous barber I can remember, even going back to when I was a kid in the 1980s. I lived in Japan 20 years ago and went to the expensive ASH hair salons during that time. Tommy's way better.

Was extremely excited and hopeful, but left fairly disappointed. I’ll start by saying my barber was a great guy with an amazing talent. Extremely precise, takes his time, really makes sure he’s giving you the best experience while having a nice conversation. That being said, there must’ve miscommunication somewhere along the way. I’ve been growing my hair out, and only wanted a trim/taper on the sides with texturing and volume on the front/top/back, while keeping it close to the length it was at. I told him this, and even showed various reference pictures, showing the long, textured, and wavy hairstyle I was going for. Throughout the appointment, little cuts would be made, coming back around to more little cuts. I did verify with him as he was cutting that the front and top would remain long, with some small touchups/trimming. He said yes. Unfortunately by the time I realized how short he cut it, it was too late. At both the front and back, he cut off approximately 2.5 inches when I asked for a slight trim with texturing/voluming. The taper on the lower side was fantastic, but towards the top, a majority gone. This put me back to square one of when I started growing out my hair, about 4-6 months gone due to what I assume was miscommunication/misunderstanding. I thought the reference pictures and overall explanation of what I wanted was enough, but it may have been lost in translation somehow. If you are coming to this location, you’re in good company. I would just recommend you fully confirm and double check with your barber of exactly what you want so there’s no miscommunication/lack of understanding.

I’ve been going to Aguilar Barber & Styling in Colorado Springs for over a decade, and I still make the drive from Denver because they’re that good. Their attention to detail and friendly service are top-notch. Can’t recommend this place enough.
