I have been attending since 2009, and I have found it to be one of the most loving, generous, and friendly places I have ever experienced. What I have learned and experienced at the Center changed my life in amazing and healing ways. There is so much JOY here, and Ahava offers great activities, classes, and performances here. We clap and cheer during the service or experience deep inner reflection. Or both at the same time! Join us!

Ahava is a community full of people who offer love, support, and emotional safety for those who find their way to them. I have been able to heal from past religious trauma thanks for this wonderful group of people. I love what they do for the community and look forward to many more years with them.

This place was recently described as an “abomination” and “blasphemous”. Attitudes like that drove me away from “traditional” (mainstream) churches back in the ‘80s. Other churches talked a lot of the talk. This spiritual living center *walks* the walk. If you’re not ready to share a spiritual space with people who aren’t like you, you might not feel comfortable here. However, if you’re genuinely open to “love thy neighbor as you love thyself,” come on in.

Ahava Center for Spiritual Living has been my Spiritual home from the very beginning. I've served as a volunteer and felt safe to be my authentic self here for 14 years this year (2023). Meditation and service starting at 10am on Sundays, the talks are always inspiring, our music program is phenomenal, our Youth program is blossoming and encourages the next generation to love themselves and others, embodying the qualities we know of the Divine through our thoughts, words and actions. We have game nights, potlucks, classes and so many great ways to connect. I have been our Clown for many years at Pride as Prizmatheclown. We are LGBTQ+ safe and have many new ways to serve the community evolving including Queering Spirituality, a teen and young adult group meeting once a month. We have a little lending library with resources specifically for them and an extensive Spiritual lending library and gift shop. Literally has been Lexington's most shining hidden gem for years, so glad people are finally finding us.

I've been attending Ahava Center for Spiritual Living for over 4 years. When I moved to Lexington I was looking for a place to call my spiritual home. I wanted a church that was open and affirming to ALL, that was active in the community, that was Love based, not fear based, and a place where i could come together with like minded people. I've found all of that and more at Ahava. the people are awesome, the music is bodacious, the services are inspirational and thought provoking.
