I do piano lessons there once a week with Music Classes Canberra. It is wonderful they repurposed the old Ainslee School to put on various music and arts programs. There is a piano in the centre hall that people can play and I believe this was due to the ABC's Piano program that aired in 2025.

Ainslie Arts Centre is a vital part of the Canberra arts scene. Many small arts organisations run from this centre, particularly those to do with Canberra’s music scene. The staff at Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres are extremely hard-working, kind and professional. Many are practicing artists themselves and have years of experience working in the arts in Canberra and around Australia.
