Skip this place if want efficient patient care from Administration running the office staff. It’s sad that after being a patient of Dr Sanchez for over 11 years I’ve had to find another Dr. He and the other Drs and nurse practitioners are great but since he’s been gone whoever is in charge of running the APP and administrative office has terrible patient care in mind. The APP tells you to text a phone # for more help when they don’t respond to a message and when you text the # they tell you to contact the Dr via the APP because the # you’ve reached is to the aesthetician?! Then they get upset when you get frustrated trying the explain the flaw and ask them to get the Dr a message on your behalf. The front office rarely answers the phone it’s a long process trying to get them to answer or call back when you’ve left a message. Ever since I spoke my mind about the horrible patient service I’ve received, my messages have been ignored. I’ve personally gone into the office to try and get an appointment and all the front staff tells me is that the office manager Patricia will need to call me. I have been given no response from the office manager nor from anyone at the office and received no explanation why I can’t get an appointment. I am now going to a top rated Integrative medicine Dr in Stone Oak in San Antonio, who’s front office staff is responsive and friendly.
I have been going to this location since 2021 and have never seen the physician. I have never seen him walking in the office. I do not know what he looks like. I have seen all 3 NP’s. They just prescribe meds for your symptoms and do no follow up or referral to specialists for abnormal lab results. When I asked about my EKG the NP says it’s the same as last year. You may have had a heart attack. And you didn’t think to refer me to a cardiologist?? At my age I should not be taking 13 medications. The staff never answers the phone. You have to call repeatedly to get someone on phone. If I could give a rating less than one I would.
This place was a joke. I have a hemochromatosis. For almost a year and a half I went here and they never found anything on their side or never even referred me to a specialist. But I would always hear “we do have a protocol” about some vitamin supplement that they had there. Literally every appointment, it felt like a sales pitch just to buy vitamins! Calling and setting up appointments with such a hassle no one answers and you can never even leave a voicemail.
The doctors are amazing here. But, their policy is not it. I’ve been calling since yesterday and all day today to reschedule my appointment but the mailbox is full so I couldn’t even leave them a voicemail. I finally got ahold of them and they’re still going to charge me a cancellation fee even when I explained I couldn’t even contact them. They then told me I can reschedule on the app but I think that policy should be waived.
Worst experience. I was scheduled for an annual exam and needed blood work therefore I had to fast. I arrived for my appointed time. Within 45 minutes of waiting, another gentleman walked in and told the receptionists that his appointment is not for another hour or so, but he came early so that his blood work could be done because he “ too fat to wait that long for food “. The receptionists all 3 of them laughed and replied “thank you for being honest with us, I wish everyone was like that”. Less than 5 minutes later the technician called for him to get his blood work while I have been sitting and waiting for nearly 45 minutes to be called and acknowledged for the same procedure.
