BEWARE!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!! After giving Jay, the owner of Albert & Ellis, months to rectify doing a completely shoddy job on sod installation with zero response or accountability, I’ve been left no choice but to share this atrocious experience. He and his team came out to evaluate and quote an entire front and backyard sod installation. They underestimated the amount of sod needed (twice causing delays), never leveled the grounds and it’s still lumpy everywhere, did not bring soil needed to lay underneath the sod, and we specifically reviewed the backyard where we had a rectangular playset with rubber mulch and while the set was removed, they were to include demo of rubber mulch and prepare grounds with soil for new sod. Two hours in, the cops were called on our home because they were pitching the rubber mulch over our back fence into the neighbor’s lawn and needless to say, they were livid. Then Jay and team decided to leave the rest of the rubber mulch down and never properly prepare the area so as the grass settled in, the roots on the sod couldn’t latch onto anything and therefore the area formed a clear rectangle where the sod is dying with shallow roots and won’t ever be healthy. Picture attached. Two gentlemen came out to work on our sprinklers (also landscapers) and commented on the terrible job. One of these guys pulled up the sod to find the mulch still all sitting under there. After cops being called and neighbors and their team having an altercation that I had to leave a zoom meeting to settle, a terrible sod job, and thousands of dollars in the hole with no response back, I’m deeply disappointed. Save yourself the money and frustration. Jay - do better.

I must have called at least ten tree trimming services. Most did not even bother to call me back. The reps, that did come out.The cost was more than I could afford. Of course to them they were giving me a good deal.A big discount. Then Albert and Ellis rep came out, what a difference. I immediately felt that this gentleman knew what he was talking about. His expertise could do the job that I was hoping for. The cost was extremely reasonable. I was able to get another job off my to do list.
