I adopted a dog with behavioral issues 3 months ago and couldn't find any groomer who would accept my dog. Thankfully, I was recommended by my colleague to Alessandro. First of all, they are the nicest people I know, Alessandro and the spa. The best of all, they care my dog, which I KNOW it needs lots of patience. Moreover, my dog always come home fresh, nice haircut, fluffy and smell amazing. Thank you, Alessandro and Team!
Fantastic experience. I just rescued my new kitty last week from the shelter, and took him today in for a bath, claw-trimming, and toothbrushing. Kitty is a special case as he is healing from recently-removed skin cancer and removal of his ears, and the staff was understanding and totally accommodating. He came out relaxed and fluffy as a cloud, smelling incredible, with an adorable holiday bow! So impressed with the kindness of Alessandro and his team. I recently took my dog Lola to Alessandro’s Pet Spa on Melrose Ave, and I could not be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, I felt confident she was in good hands. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure to go over the services I had requested: a full bath, deshedding treatment, haircut, nail trim, and anal gland expression. They listened carefully to my concerns and preferences, which immediately put me at ease. When I picked Lola up a few hours later, I was blown away by how beautiful she looked. Her coat was soft, shiny, and noticeably lighter after the deshedding. The haircut was perfect—not too short, not uneven, but styled in a way that really brought out her natural features. They also trimmed her nails to a safe and comfortable length, which is something that often gets overlooked at other grooming places. It was clear to me that they paid attention to detail and took pride in their work. One of my biggest concerns with grooming is how stressed out Lola might feel during the process. She can be a bit anxious in new environments, and in the past I’ve picked her up from other places only to find her restless, panting, or overwhelmed. This time, she came out calm, happy, and relaxed, wagging her tail and looking proud of herself. That alone speaks volumes about the way Alessandro’s Pet Spa treats the pets in their care. They clearly prioritize not only the quality of grooming but also the emotional well-being of their furry clients. The spa itself is clean, organized, and has a calm atmosphere that helps set the tone for a positive visit. The team is professional, kind, and you can tell they genuinely love animals. They didn’t rush through the process, but at the same time, everything was done in a timely manner, so I wasn’t left waiting longer than necessary. Overall, my experience at Alessandro’s Pet Spa was nothing short of excellent. Lola looked and felt amazing, and I could tell she had a positive experience throughout. I truly appreciate the level of care, attention, and professionalism this team brings to their work. I have a mini schnauzer pup that needed her first grooming cut since we brought her home. Having a puppy package answered my question on how young of a dog he worked on. He answered all of my questions when I called. Went over what I wanted ate drop off. I love that there is a play space for your pup to be in when they aren't being groomed or waiting for pick up they aren't crated the whole time. He is kind, patient and knowledgeable. The cut turned out so good, Alessandro and his team did a great job. :) I threw in a before photo too.
