If you have Carmax care I would stay clear of this place. I came in to get my car maintenance and when I mentioned I had Carmax care they told me that maintenance wasn’t covered by Carmax which I already knew. After I got my car back I noticed leaks, so I took it to a different shop because I started looking at the reviews and people had the same problem with them they mentioned that they had Carmax care and their vehicles started having problems after leaving that shop . I got a call from the other shop and told me that the transmission fluid was overfilled, my brakes were missing parts, and coolant was leaking. Even though all about cars total care did a full “inspection” and told me everything seemed fine. So now I have to pay another shop $1200 and that’s with Carmax care which honestly I’m ok with I rather the other shop gets funds from Carmax care than this shop.

I have been going to All About Cars for a few years now and don’t have anything but good things to say about them. Nate and James have always treated me well and they have taken care of a few of my vehicles now. When I couldn’t afford to replace all three catalytic converters in my Honda pilot, Nate agreed to install ones I purchased online. They have always been courteous and helpful whenever I’ve needed them and haven’t price gouged me to death. I’m always for supporting the small hometown businesses and that’s what All About Cars is.

Brought my vehicle here because I had coverage from carmax which I had called to verify that my parts were covered which they had confirmed. Took it in on a saturday in the morning I knew the diagnostics and warranty info would take a few days. Come Thursday afternoon I finally heard back with someone on the phone telling me I'd need tires which I knew wouldn't ever be covered by a warranty and the next statement was because of the mileage the shocks probably wouldn't be covered either. That told me that for those days it was in their care absolutely no attempt to figure out my warranty issues were even attempted to be investigated. I told the person on the phone i had already called and verified that the parts were infact covered all they said was "ohh they are? I'll call you back". Didn't hear back the rest of the day. Finally Friday afternoon with still no callback I went back for my vehicle. I understand working with warranties might be a hassle but communication with your customers is important I feel that they just wanted to deal with me and not the warranty and that seems shady to me. I'll never bring my vehicles for any future needs hope they dont treat others like that.
