What a neat place! The barber chairs were all old-timey. The one I sat in for my haircut was very comfortable. My haircut is perfect and the barber who cut my hair took his time to ensure my haircut was exactly what I had asked for.

This was my go-to location when I lived in Bakersfield, appx 8yrs ago. Came back for an event and was in need of a haircut, so I decided to go back. My old barber wasn't there, so I opted for Carissa, and I'm glad I did. Carissa is very approachable, friendly, and gets down on her fades. Thank you, Carissa, for taking care of me! The location hasn't really changed, but that's good because it's always been a great spot, IMO.

Great atmosphere! Good music is playing at a reasonable volume. Someone always able to greet us and ask if we have an appointment or are walk-ins. Definitely feel like we found a nice place with talented staff! We are tired of places with blaring music and/ or carousel of barbers. Hope we can stay at All American for awhile.
