Best Music School in Anchorage, Alaska! Owners and instructors are welcoming, supportive and awesomely ROCKS!! They made sure you are having fun at the same time as you hone your skills and learn knowledge about music theories and applications. They put up events like Summer of Rock for students to show off their skills and talents, have fun with fellow students, instructors, families and friends, and best of all, for you to have the experience of a lifetime! Performing like a pro on an event with the supportive crowd! A special, memorable event that once in your life, you were with an amazing group of people, performing in one of the great places in the great state of Alaska! I have high functioning autism, I have social anxiety, and I love music. Though I don’t have that great voice, with my supportive mom’s goal to get me to something I can socialize with and learn something, she found Alpine Music Studios. My mom was happy when owner Matt called that I will do vocals with co-owner Emi and a local artist and instructor Dawson for the Summer of Rock event that just happened this August 9, 2025 at Hilltop Ski Area. We have witnessed and experienced the all out support of the staff, and had fun with families and friends of my fellow students which was amazing! My awesome teacher is Shane, you can check the website for each teacher’s specialty. Thank you Shane for your kindness and support, you are awesome! Thank you Matt, Emi and Dawson for the opportunity to have performed with you. I am honored to be the vocalist of the band “Robert and The Wrecking Balls” we have formed! Great experience! Our families and friends from other countries like Philippines, Canada and here have made great comments and likes on social media! One made a comment to bring you to the Philippines 🇵🇭😅. I encourage you to be part of this team of musicians! You won’t regret it. You will have Great memories with them. You will overcome your social anxiety if you surround yourself with supportive people. Alpine Music Studios, LLC is the place to be!

My son has been attending drumming lessons for a year with Dawson, this young man has bonded with my son and has been a great instructor since day one. It makes me sad to discontinue his lessons for the time being but when we return I sure hope Dawson is still there! Only gave them 4 stars because I wish they had weekend lessons but other than that great place to learn! Thank you Dawson for everything! -Matty

Hey! I’m a past student that was taking private lessons with Chris Hawk back in 2023 from March to August. I just wanted to say he is an amazing teacher. I went in just wanting to test it out for a new hobby and he broke it down for me easily. I’ve never done singing lessons or choir in school beforehand so going in completely fresh and him explaining it made it fun. I’m no longer a student as I’m out of state but because of Chris’ methods of teaching I practice at home in my home recording studio when work allows and I want him to know that. I recommend him for any student.

After a year of ukulele lessons, I have witnessed tremendous growth in my daughter’s playing and skill level. She looks forward to her lessons, and is always in a great mood when done. I credit Emi, her teacher for making the lessons fun and engaging. She’s even turned a reluctant sibling into an attentive additional student! Emi is very easy to work with and incredibly flexible when things come up or schedules change. I highly recommend Alpine Music Studios!
