We’ve boarded our pup here many times and they always take great care of her. The staff are patient and do a wonderftjob working with her when she’s anxious. Highly recommend.

I always board my dogs here and never have a problem. Plenty of options to choose from. That even board for the day if need. Price not bad and vets next door and you can get all your animals shots.

I’ve been a customer of Alta Vista Veterinary and expected a much higher level of care — especially after paying for VIP boarding services that included baths for both of my dogs over the 4th of July weekend. What I got instead was completely unacceptable and honestly, heartbreaking. When I picked them up, they were covered in urine, and their beds were soaked. My Shipoo, whose coat I work hard to maintain, was severely matted with knots all over his body. I had to pay to get him completely shaved after a year of taking care of his coat. Despite the VIP package including a bath, I was told he had been bathed earlier in the stay — not the day of pickup — which meant I brought him home filthy and neglected. Even worse, both of my dogs were visibly traumatized and had bug bite marks all over their bodies. When I called to share my concerns, I was told they had 50–60 dogs that weekend and “didn’t have time to brush them.” That is not an acceptable excuse when you are charging for premium-level care. I asked to speak with a manager and was promised a call back — no one ever followed up. That silence speaks volumes about the level of accountability at this facility. You didn’t just lose me as a boarding client — you’ve lost me entirely. I will never bring my pets here again, not even for veterinary care. This experience has made me seriously question the ethics, integrity, and standards of your entire operation. Pets are family — and they deserve far better than what mine experienced here.

We have used Alta vista for both boarding and grooming and they are wonderful and reasonably priced. Great spot for both our pups to stay even last min or if we go on vacation. They gave both our dogs fall bandanas which I thought was a very cute touch.
