I have been to their restaurant three times now and will go there more for sure. The atmosphere is 5 star with the view of the entire town and lights at nights. Absolutely unique. The food is 5 star. Every item I tried on the menu is high qualify and full of flavors and fresh. I am no wine expert but I enjoy drinking their unique blends. The service is 5 star too. Respectful and attentive with grace. Ashley served us the last two times. She is a professional and my wife and I absolutely appreciate her.

Delicious food and some good wines. It was quite comfortable, with surprisingly little noise. (I have sensory issues) They were doing a 3 course meal option that was fantastic. $61 per person (upcharge for the steak or oysters) got us bread, an appetizer, and entree, and dessert of your choosing. Flights were flexible, with an option to do half glasses of wine that let us pick one we wanted a bottle of. Service was a bit muddled, as we ordered a coffee with dessert, and didn't see our server again until we cashed out. Not a huge issue, but a bit frustrating.

My husband and I had our wedding at Amaterra, and it was the most beautiful day. Katie Carver from Amaterra worked seamlessly with our planner, Katy Kamali, to bring all of our dreams to life. The space didn’t need much to dress it up, and Amaterra already had a lot on hand we were able to utilize including beautiful cross back chairs! While the space was amazing, the FOOD was absolutely one of the highlights of the night for everyone. We had so much fun choosing what would be on the menu at our tasting, and the dinner did not disappoint. Even the desserts we ordered to supplement our Dream Cakes cake were DELICIOUS! We would recommend Amaterra to anyone looking for a magical space to host their wedding - thanks again to Katie, Katy and team for everything!

Had a wonderful experience here! Did the wine tasting experience, paired with some charcuterie and the dessert board (which was incredible- not to be missed!) I really appreciate that they have lots of gluten free options and alternatives, as someone with celiac. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly and the space is stylish and has a beautiful view. Lovely!

I first came here shortly after Amaterra first opened. The wine was great, but there were a few things that made me reluctant on returning. Then this week, I wanted to make a reservation at a winery conveniently located near Portland metro for a family dinner and wine tasting. This experience today was AMAZING. The wine was great as usual. The food and service was another level compared to a few years ago. We did the charcuterie board, one of the caviar experiences, the cornbread, the pork and beef stuffed peppers, the short ribs, the scallops large serving, and each had the pinot noir tasting flight followed by a full glass night cap. I wish I was more considerate of the service team names as 4 people assisted us this evening but at the moment I can only recall Ashley and James. The service was fantastic and they were very thoughtful. We had an amazing time. There was also live music on the 1st floor outside (which also has a full bar). I will definitely be back here again and will consider this spot anytime friends, colleagues or families are visiting Portland.
