A very late review, but Cecilia did an amazing job altering my gown. The place I originally purchased my gown wanted an arm and a leg for alterations, and when I read all the wonderful reviews about Amira’s I knew I had to book an appointment. The prices are very reasonable. Thank you, Cecilia!

Cecilia is very skilled and to make things 100% better, she is also the sweetest. I ordered my wedding dress from a consignment website and I loved it. I just needed it to be taken in and hemmed. I was a little worried because my dress was covered in lace detail. Cecilia did a wonderful job and also ended up providing my veil as well as my husband's vest and tie. She was so helpful throughout the process and made me feel very confident. I could not be more happy with my dress!

Cecilia made everything so comfortable and amazing at the same time. I was so nervous coming in - I had went to 3 dress shops previously and I felt uncomfortable with my body, and the dresses in stock felt like no match to a typical body that dress shops would normally keep (size 2 - 10). When I went to her shop, the dresses didn’t make me feel uncomfortable whatsoever, instead I felt like the dresses fit me. Cecilia understood my wants and I got the dream dress that I wanted and was willing to pay for everything, including alterations and the dream veil that I longed for. To add to her exceptional work, her alterations for bustling were A1. She showed my godmother and MOH how to bustle my dress with ease. She is very exceptional with her craft and you will not regret her service! She was flexible with payment as well, and all brides know that wedding prices are never cheap. Payment plan was provided with ease; Communication is key for sure, but as long as you keep that, everything will go smoothly. I got my dress in time, along with alterations, and I will forever recommend Amirah’s Fashion Couture. Thank you Cecilia, for everything! I felt beautiful every time I went into the shop and during my wedding and will forever be grateful to you.

From the beginning, Cecilia was a pleasure to work with. She communicated very well, was organized, and her knowledge and insight was very helpful for us as we prepared for our wedding day. Cecilia is more than helpful! Originally I had called about an alternation on a skirt for my bridal shower. The next day I actually had a bridal appointment. Since I was wearing the shoes I would with the skirt I told her I would be back with it. We decided to do a onsie bridal party. So I no longer needed the skirt to be hemmed. I came with a few of my sisters. We picked all different styles since I had never tried on dresses before. We seemed to have been going in the right direction so she pulled additional dresses. I found one I did like, and I was dreading asking how much it was. I was shocked when it was actually affordable and so beautiful. I ended up not getting my dress there, but Cecilia made my first time trying in dresses a really good experience.
