I do not even know how to express how amazing Amy Katz and her team is to work with. They will also produce the PERFECT wedding with timelines and details all in place so that there is not an ounce of worry. Over the whole 14 months of planning, Amy and her team were by our sides through every appointment and scheduling calls/visits/getting quotes from vendors before we could even anticipate it. The "Amy Katz way" was always 15 steps ahead. She was INTEGRAL in delivering the most unbelievable wedding day that we could not have done without her. The thing with Amy, is that she's extremely knowledgeable and experienced which you cannot even compare to anyone else's in the industry. We trusted all of Amy's opinions; she was right about everything. Amy was ALWAYS prepared asking questions that my mom and I NEVER would have thought of and made sure that there was not a detail left unturned. Aside from Amy, I cannot fail to mention how incredible her staff was to work with. I left my wedding wanting to be FRIENDS with them. The day of the wedding would not have been executed without the help of Regina, Kathy, Regina's sister etc. They were unreal, calming, organized, professional, all the things that you would want. Additionally, Amy has connections with the best vendors and had a selection for each decision with options so that we did not have to do any additional research. My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Surrounded by family and friends, about to marry my best friend, is a great recipe for success, but what carried us over the finish line, with triumph, was Amy Katz and her team. From our first meeting with Amy, we knew our wedding was in good hands. Her confidence, knowledge and years spent in the industry building and maintaining relationships, filled us with peace that Amy was the planner for us. Not only is Amy one of the top wedding planners in NYC, but she’s genuinely liked and respected by all in the industry. She’s fair and direct and gets the job done, with everyone feeling like they were taken care of and listen to. She respects different ideas and opinions and effortlessly creates a safe space for sharing all those things openly. One of my favorite things about Amy is her ability to problem solve. She rolls with the punch’s so to speak. With Amy in your corner you know things will turn out better than you could have even hoped or planned. To say Amy’s team is amazing doesn’t do them justice. They are passionate about what they do. Positive, kind, thoughtful and warm. Leading up to, and on my wedding day, it felt like I was surrounded by loving friends. You feel like you are part of their family. I can honestly say that this alone made me truly feel like I was insulated from all hickupps, all things that could’ve bothered me on my wedding, because I genuinely felt protected and surrounded by loving people. Amy and her team. Their love of what they do elevates everyone and everything around them. Words of encouragement and support, thoughtful attention to detail, to acts as small as making sure that I was drinking water to stay hydrated or a chair to sit down on in between photos. They provided a loving support that truly made my wedding day better. One of my favorite things about working with Amy was all of her recommendations. She took time to get to know us then carefully gave us recommendations on wedding bands, Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, and different vendors that she thought would be the best fit for me personally. I found that each of these individuals had the same level as professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness as Amy. It’s clear to me that someone like Amy has a special skill for finding and gathering those who care deeply and that are as equally invested to their craft as she is. Amy Katz personifies excellence. I openly recommend her to every friend, every acquaintance, and every stranger that I hear is starting the wedding planning process.

But planning a wedding in NYC clearly called for expert guidance, thoughtful vendor coordination and connections. I worked closely with Amanda, and their level of responsiveness and professionalism was truly unmatched. Amy was also incredibly accessible. Amy Katz Events helped me plan my daughter’s wedding in NYC. The best decision we made was selecting Amy and her team as our Wedding Planners. Amy and Danika(her assistant) were professional, organized, understanding, friendly and positive throughout the entire process. They were so organized, we had no stress throughout the entire process. They made fabulous recommendations for vendors, hotels and personal assistants(Hair, Makeup, Stylist) on the wedding day. I can’t say enough about how outstanding Amy, Danika and the additional day of assistants-Kathy & Maddie-were to have with us on the Wedding Day. Amy would only accept excellence from all our vendors. Amy & Danika oversaw everything happening in the Ceremony Room, Cocktail Hour Room and Ballroom to ensure everything would be perfect and ensuring our vendors were giving us exactly what we contracted for. Amy is like a Symphony Conductor who doesn’t miss a beat. We couldn’t have had the most fabulous wedding without Amy Katz Events.
Amy Katz and her team planned our wedding at The Plaza in NYC and absolutely knocked it out of the park. The vendors Amy recommended executed seamlessly in bringing our dream wedding to life.
