This place is a hidden gem. I always drive past it but decided one day to go in And take a look. I like how your Able to pet the animals and touch them without having to ask an employee to open their enclosure and wait on them, it gets the animals used to human interaction making them more social unlike a typical pet store. They have a nice selection of animals and items for your animal from reptiles, to fish, to hamsters, to dogs, you name it! The prices on the animals were very reasonable compared to a big chain pet store. If you’re looking into getting a pet I highly recommend getting one from here and supporting them.

Stopped in to ask some questions about a bird immediately was approached by Bri, Bri was absolutely amazing with questions and jaws very knowledgeable! As first bird owners we absolutely left even more excited for our bird! Bri is absolutely an asset to your company! Thank you again animal house! Excellent experience!
Soft corduroy
Great place as far as variety. Selection can be slim sometimes but when they restock it's always great! Good place for live feeders as well. Staff is generally friendly, 90% of the time. It'd be 5 stars but I've seen them "overstock" 2-3 times and the animals that were overstocked were in rough environments. Prices are a tiny bit higher than most shops as well.

I came here feeling overwhelmed with my new pet. Brianna was incredibly helpful and supportive. The resourcefulness is much appreciated. Impeccable customer service. They let me pet the pig! The male staff member, I believe his name was Aaron although I can’t recall, he was incredibly informative as well. I felt very welcome. I was very impressed by this store. Thank you Animal House! Great place, will be back.

This place is probably my favorite in St. Pete. I love it so much, I've gone a million times and it never fails to disappoint. The pets and animals are amazing and beautiful, the variety is great. The staff are always so nice and friendly too! When I first moved to Florida a few years ago, I came here and was just amazed. I've never seen such a nice, open, friendly, and beautiful place. I just hope this store stays forever, I always recommend it to everyone I can.
