Anjali provided the most beautiful bridal lehenga for my Indian and Scottish fusion wedding. She has a really lovely selection of outfits and she made me and my mother in law feel really welcome from our first visit. I was really impressed with the quality of the lehenga, it’s gorgeous! Throughout the process, Anjali was incredibly responsive and kept us updated every step of the way regarding fittings and collection. I cannot recommend her highly enough for any bride!!
I had the extreme pleasure of shopping for a saree for a wedding from Anjali's Boutique and I must say the service was quite amazing and all the outfits were very beautifully done. She helped me choose a lovely purple saree and made alterations as requested. I told that her that when I was searching for places to buy my outfit her boutique came up first so it must be the best place for Indian wear in Glasgow. I would highly recommend it. 😀
I first contacted Anjali in March with some photos of my grandmother in her saree on her wedding day. I explained that I was looking for something similar, which Anjali was more than happy to help me with. I visited the shop the following month and Anjali had multiple beautiful sarees picked out for me to try on. They were all stunning!! I chose one during this visit and Anjali arranged for the saree to be altered by her in-house tailor, which was carried out professionally and saved me the worry of going to a tailor who may not of dealt with this type of outfit before. I picked up my saree today and Anjali spent plenty of time with me ensuring that I was comfortable with how to don the saree on my wedding day. I can’t wait to wear my saree next month! Thank you so much for making this such an enjoyable and memorable experience. I will definitely be back if ever needing another Indian outfit. I highly recommend visiting Anjali if you require any help or advice in relation to Indian outfits.
I got my bridal lehenga and my husband's sherwani from Anjali for our wedding this summer. Options for Indian bridal wear at a certain standard are relatively limited in Glasgow with many shops outsourcing tailors/asking you to find your own and not taking responsibility for the final fit and finishing of the outfit. From my very first conversation with Anjali she was able to fill me with confidence that she could provide the type of bridal lehenga I was looking for and deal with everything from start to finish. I went into her show room a few times and Anjali patiently talked me and my mum through the various options available. We discussed at length and I really feel she took the time to understand what I was looking for. Her up to date knowledge of Indian fashion was very helpful! I was able to try on some styles (she has some amazing pieces in store!) and I was able to select a design and customise this as I wished. From design, manufacturing, shipping, tailoring and finishing she dealt with everything and gave me regular updates along the way to put me at ease that my bridal lehenga was on the way. After my lehenga arrived I went in for a number of fittings to make sure it was looking perfect on the day. We even decided to get my husband's sherwani from Anjali which she matched with my lehenga. We always enjoyed coming in for our fittings as she was pleasant to deal with and put us at ease. On the day the outfits turned out beautifully and fitted us both perfectly (please see photos) with all the customisations I requested. We were both so thrilled with the way everything turned out. Weddings can be stressful but I want to thank Anjali for being someone we could rely on and making this part very easy by ensuring that we looked our best on the day. I definitely recommend Anjali to anyone looking for desi bridal and party wear. Yes things can always be bought cheaper online but if you want a beautiful, good quality outfit which fits perfectly and a pleasant experience of dealing with someone kind and trustworthy who knows what they are doing then please go to Anjali 😊.
