All three of my children went to Ms.Schlichter for tutoring in reading and writing. She is very welcoming and puts the children at ease. She understands all the necessary components that need to go into learning to read and write at grade level. I highly recommend.

My son has benefited from Anne's in depth knowledge for over 9 years. She meets her students exactly where they would benefit from intervention tactics. While it might be common to have a reading specialists as a "quick solve" in elementary school, she has played a central role in our son's success through middle school and now, high school. As a family, we view Anne Schlichter as a pivotal member of our son's educational team.

For the past 5 years Anne Schlichter has truly been an inspirational leader for our children, as well as for our entire family! Anne has centered an emphasiis on integration of phonics training with word recognition, reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary development, spelling, and expressive writing... Anne's time, commitment and expertise has built a solid platform of growth for all three of our children in reading and writing. Her timeless passion has not only inspired our children, it has guided them to meet and/or exceed core grade level markers. These results have remarkably exceeded our expectations! We have been working with Anne weekly for three years for my two daughters. She has helped move both of them from below grade level readers to above grade level readers in the course of a school year. She has focused on exactly what each of them has needed and provided just the right support in those areas to help them achieve. Additionally, my girls LOVE going to see her and look forward to it despite both of them being reluctant readers. Her extra support during the summer months, in addition to the school year, has aided them in maintaining their skill levels during the summer. She is very kind, supportive, makes skills fun, and allows the girls to choose books that are of interest them. I highly recommend her.
