Apollo did a fantastic job capturing our wedding in November in San Francisco. Andra and Melaina were with us every step of the way, capturing a full range of memories from posed portraits to candids with our guests to details of the venue. Our ceremony was indoors at night in low light, and Andra and Melaina worked with the lighting to create beautiful, dramatic pictures that we can’t wait to hang in our home. Apollo has tons of experience photographing weddings, and they have a very helpful structured process to follow in advance of the wedding day to ensure everything runs smoothly. As a couple, we aren’t super comfortable in front of a camera, but Andra and Melaina were helpful coaches and cheerleaders which made us much more at ease during the shoots. They also did a great job of planning for our venue and using their own artistic perspective to put us in locations that turned into amazing photos. If you’re looking for a great Bay Area wedding photographer, Apollo is an awesome choice!
Finding a wedding photographer took us longer than expected! We wanted to find a team that did photo and video for ease and alignment on our wedding day, with a skilled team we could trust, without blowing out budget. Apollo checked all these boxes and much more. The team is extremely professional, organized, and has a calming presence. Carie was our photographer and Alexa was our videographer. Liv is such a delight to work with too and delivered beautiful sneak peaks while we were on our honeymoon, the 700+ photos timely after, our movie trailer, and ALL video footage the day before Christmas eve (we got married October 10th). I would recommend Apollo to all and feel they are they are the best bay area wedding photographer.
We highly recommend Apollo Fotografie if you're looking for a Bay Area wedding photographer and videographer! In fact, we chose Apollo because we were so in love with the wedding photos they took for another couple at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. From our very first inquiry to our big day, Liv was thorough, detail-oriented, and always made us feel taken care of. The email follow-ups and timeline reminders were impeccable! Our wedding photos and video are stunning!!! It's such a wonderful way to relive the memories. We're so grateful for Carrie and Jas (our wedding photographers) and Terrence (videographer) for capturing our special day. Everyone showed up on time and was professional. Carrie was very thoughtful in capturing the exact angles I had shared with her in my vision document, and Jas did a phenomenal job on our tea ceremony and getting-ready photos. Terrence captured an incredible drone shot of the Palace of Fine Arts, which was shared in the beginning of our wedding video. We had an amazing experience with Apollo Fotografie from start to finish. On our wedding day at the Palm Event Center, Carrie and Josh were incredibly professional and knew exactly how to get the right shots while keeping everything running smoothly. They made us feel confident and well taken care of, and the photos turned out beautifully. We couldn’t recommend them more!
When planning for our June wedding in Mendocino, we knew we had to get the perfect photographer, someone who could really capture the beauty of the coast and all of the vibrant colors that come along with it. After viewing tons of portfolios, Apollo's work really stood out from the rest. We loved everything we saw, from their ability to capture motion, their framing, to their vivid presentation of colors. We immediately hopped on a call with Liv, and she was super clear and up front about the whole process, which was very helpful for a couple like us who have never hired a professional photographer before. Many months before the wedding, we worked with Andra for our engagement shoot and it couldn't have gone better! Both my fiance and I are not used to being in front of the camera, so we were definitely anxious about the whole ordeal, but Andra assuaged our fears instantly. She led us around Buena Vista park and picked out the best locations with the most magical lighting like a hawk. After feeling how comfortable we were with Andra taking our photos and seeing how beautiful they came out, we were both so much more confident and excited about our wedding to come. For our wedding weekend, Andra came up to Mendocino and captured both our Chinese tea ceremony/wedding games and the wedding itself. Andra was super punctual and always at the right place at the right time. She was always where the action was, even getting a photo of my fiance catching a random bird that flew into the house! On the day of the wedding itself, Andra and her team made both the bridal party and groom's party feel comfortable, and took some of the most breathtaking shots of us on the coast. After the ceremony, she was able to get everything we wanted: candid shots of pure happiness, photos with various permutations of family and friends, and moments on the dance floor after dinner, where Andra's photos serve as a more accurate record of events than our own memories. Earlier than expected, we got an email with some teasers and we were amazed! We showed them to our friends and family and they were equally blown away with how they turned out. It definitely left us super excited for the full album! Overall working with Andra and the team was fantastic. Great communication, no logistical overhead, fun and compassionate team, and beautiful memories captured perfectly. Apollo really has the best wedding photographers in the Bay Area, and we are so glad we were able to have them come up to Mendocino to take our photos. The moments Andra and the team captured for us will live with us forever. Every time we see them, we can't help but to smile!
