Apple is a busy store a-lot going on and a bit noisy at times. The techs are friendly and knowledgeable and usually get you in and out quickly. I needed help with my iPhone software update of iOS 26.2. I had a nice experience at the genius bar…go check them out if you’re having any problems with your digital devices there very helpful, friendly and no questions are dumb to answer.
In-store experience is usually pretty good, but I have to say I'm extremely unhappy after mine today. I bought a new phone and the technician assured me I would be able to set up my phone on my own. I turned my old phone in for trade at the store. I have been spinning in circles for 2 hours trying to set the phone up and there is no way past the verification screen for my carrier to verify my identity (through sending a text to my phone which I turned in to the store) without now having to go into a physical T Mobile store for them to clear this screen. I'm leaving the country today and thankfully found a store close to the airport so I can do this and actually have a phone on my vacation. This is COMPLETELY unnecessary and should not have happened.
My elderly father went to get his phone fixed this morning. Was told they had to send it off for at least five days. He said he can’t go that long without a phone. They said “sorry we don’t have anymore loaner phones available.” (I don’t believe this.) so instead of even trying harder (I mean it’s a PHONE STORE) don’t tell me you don’t have a phone he can borrow for 5 days. You sent out a man over 70 without a phone who has a health history of passing out and needing medical attention. How will he call for help? What if he breaks down on the side of the road? I feel like the associate could have done more and flat out just didn’t care. I am a very angry daughter cornered for her dad’s safety and feel he was taken advantage of. These young “hip” employees don’t care about our elderly. 😡
The Apple Store is conveniently located right inside one of the main entrances of the mall, which makes it super easy to find. The staff here are fantastic—always friendly, knowledgeable, and patient no matter how busy it gets. And that’s saying something, because this place is a madhouse at all times. Whether it’s a weekday morning or a weekend evening, it’s always packed with people. Still, despite the constant chaos, the employees manage to keep things moving efficiently and deliver great customer service. If you need help or a repair, it’s definitely worth the trip—just be prepared for the crowds!
I have been to the Alco store about my phone. They said give it two days and you can reset the password so then took it to West town store on Saturday and the man. I thought it was fixed and that he said wait two days but it’s in recovery mode and it’ll be five days so I have to go back on Wednesday and we will see what will happen but when I went to the T-Mobile store in Alcoa on May 5, my husband went in to pay my bill and the lady would not take his money and then she asked if he had the correct change and he said yes and she still would not take it and that was May 5 at 5:35 on a Sunday and he had to go to West Maryville and they made the payment My brother also went there. He went from Metro to Tmobile like I did about the phone. The man did not want to give him a Sim card. This doesn’t have to do with anything Apple, but my tea life has disappeared off my phone so I can’t get in touch with the CEO because it hangs up to draft. Whoever is hacking the phone so I can’t talk to anyone because when I called the number to the CEO it goes somewhere else, but I think that they should not be prejudice over there. The man did not set up his phone or anything. They had some words and the man told him do not come back in his store and that is the one across from Walmart in Aqua, Tennessee and my husband was black and my brother is black and I think that they need some new management or redo things in that storeand I am still waiting to talk to the CEO of Tmobile because they are terrible and they probably won’t send this
