On Jan 15th I posted a review letting Applewood know that I was not pleased with what I considered a high quote for the replacement of a PRV valve. Today, I received an email from Applewood's Service Manager letting me know that the company would be refunding me the $200 fee I was charged for the diagnosis less their $29 service fee. I certainly appreciate the company giving me the refund, and I have changed my rating to 5 stars for making sure I am a satisfied customer. Again, thank you for the great customer service!

I would recommend you to everyone. They were all on time. They were very professional and walked me through everything when they werso I knew how to use the new thermostat and electrical panel. Then did the same when done installing new furnace. They were personable and communicated what they still needed to do when they came back. From the scheduling and reminder, phone calls to being here on time and making me feel very comfortable, it was great service. And all of them should know what a great job they did..

Jack was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with, I had a clogged and broken drain line below the basement slab causing water backup into my basement. Jack showed up on time and gave me repair options and got to work right away with the option of my choice. Jack did all the work by himself and completed the repair in one day and got my house back to a fully functioning home again. Now it’s up to me to put the basement back together. I Highly recommend Jack at Applewood Plumbing to anyone needing help. I’m Very happy with Applewood as a company and can’t say enough about Jack as a representative for the company. Only negative thing in my mind was the cost of the service. although, when you need work done now from a private company you have to accept the price. I would definitely use Applewood again!

They also called before the scheduled time to confirm availability and provide a more accurate arrival window, which I appreciated. The technician, Jack, showed up right on time and was fantastic—friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. He answered all my questions about the estimate, completed the install quickly, and the new disposal looks great. He also walked me through how it works and answered a few extra questions about my dishwasher line. I felt confident in his expertise and appreciated his patience and thoroughness. The only downside was the price. I was charged $1,200 for the replacement, which is about $700 more than the national average of $300–$500 for parts and labor. Applewood explained that the higher cost includes a 10-year warranty, access to a large technician network for fast service, and their well-stocked warehouse to ensure quick resolution of issues. While those factors help justify the price, it’s still a steep premium compared to standard rates. Overall, if you’re looking for fast, professional, high-quality service and are willing to pay for convenience and peace of mind, Applewood delivers.
