Just finished Sinister shadows, very fun escape room. The theme was really good and well made. The room has some unique mechanisms and puzzles I haven't seen in other places. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time doing this escape room as a family! The puzzles were well thought out—challenging but not frustrating—and required real teamwork, which made the experience even more fun. Everyone, from kids to adults, felt involved and excited the whole time. The room was well designed, the storyline was engaging, and the staff was friendly and helpful without giving too much away. It was a perfect mix of suspense, laughter, and bonding. Highly recommend this escape room for families looking to do something unique and memorable together!

My experience in Sinister Shadows was incredible, I believe this escape room has wonderful potential that can flourish into a memorable experience for all those whom attempts to escape their escape rooms. The puzzles me and my partner encountered was not so difficult that we needed hints every second but challenging enough to get us thinking for a while. The puzzles were also very well crafted and were creative which makes me look forward to their future escape rooms, as a horror fan, im looking forward to the cannibal's cabin! Do not skip out on this place and give their room a try because this place shows promise!

We recently tried Sinister Shadows at Arcane Escape Room and we had such a great time. Even though we usually go for horror themed escape rooms, we genuinely loved this one. The puzzles were fun, clever, and most importantly not overly complicated like many other rooms we have tried in Ottawa. What really stood out was how straightforward and satisfying the puzzles were. We never felt stuck because of overly technical steps or super finicky mechanisms. In other escape rooms you sometimes have to solve several mini puzzles just to unlock the next clue or place an object in an exact position or nothing works, which can get frustrating. Here, everything made sense, moved smoothly from one clue to the next, and felt very fair. Our host was incredibly friendly and told us about the future escape rooms they plan to open, which made us even more excited to return. If you enjoy escape rooms that feel immersive, logical, and fun without unnecessary complications, Sinister Shadows is definitely worth checking out. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it.

Sinister Shadows was an awesome escape room! Lots of cool interactivity and contraptions. The theming and atmosphere were on point, immersive (but still felt like an escape room). Flow and balance of the puzzles was good. The standout puzzles were not overly cryptic or difficult but still resulted in great "aha" moments. Check it out!
