My favorite book shop in montreal!! It's small but has the best collection I've seen 🤎 the staff is super nice and every time I go I find a new treasure for my book collection! It's got a million beautifully illustrated guides, graphic novels and amazing fantasy books

The small notes left everywhere is what hooked me there. The selection is impressive and they really know what's popular and/or what needs to be on the shelves. What a charming locally owned bookstore. We are visiting from out of town and came across Argo because they are hosting a book reading (something they seem to do regularly). I personally loved the wall of staff recommendations with thoughtfully written notes to accompany each book. One of the owners was manning the cash register and give us more detail on his recommendation when we asked. Seems like the perfect place for someone to spend some time solo browsing. Hope to visit again.

Charming store and super friendly staff - very knowledgeable of their stock and always ready to make recommendations :-D Though the store is small, they had an awesome selection, and clearly hosted a lot of neighbourhood events as well. I wish I lived close enough to participate in them!
