From the start, Emily was upfront and honest with me. She told me we had one of the toughest judges possible that day and prepared me for the likelihood of a guilty conviction on the assault charge, as well as a potential fine and conviction for the intimidation charge I had already pleaded guilty to. But Emily is an absolute powerhouse in the courtroom. She is sharp, fearless, and determined to win in every way she can. Her cross-examination of the witness was incredible — she kept going until the inconsistencies came out and the truth was clear. Her skill completely turned the case around. Because of Emily’s effort and expertise, I received a not guilty verdict on the AVO/assault matter, no fine, and no conviction.
