I first went on a sketching workshop with Emma in the summer of 2018. I then also started glass mosaic classes with her. She kept us sane during the lockdowns with zoom classes of various crafts. I particularly enjoyed quilling and water colours. Since then I have continues with workshops with her both in her own home studio and "on location" including a 2 night sketching trip to Shrewsbury. What I can I say about Emma. She is an incredibly patient teacher who encourages everyone to find their inner artist. I may not be a Leonardo in the making but I have had so much pleasure and fulfilment with the workshops I have done with Emma. I could not recommend Art and Relaxation with Emma more highly. Please try her workshops and you will not be disappointed.

Emma is a calming presence. She guides you through the session at your pace. I have made some lovely things at Emma's classes over the years. Mosaics, clay items, sketches and watercolour painting. I've also been taught how to do quilting, which is very mindful. You can escape the everyday and loose yourself in creativity. I have really enjoyed the many art walks and I have been to several quaint places for lunch and art. Town and county. What a great journey I'm on. One to Ones, painting and scouse nights, family sessions and women supporting each other as well as group work. Keep up the classes Emma, it's a great way to support the artist in all of us!

For the past two years, I’ve been attending Emma’s sessions at her studio in Crosby, as well as various workshops she’s organised across the city. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single one :-) Emma is not only a kind and beautiful person, but she also has a wonderful ability to support each of us in discovering new ways to engage with painting and art. Her sessions are creative, and full of humour and charm. She shows us valuable techniques while encouraging us to explore freely — highly recommended!

Before my sessions with Emma, I felt a bit lost creatively. I had been to other people’s art classes and they had left me feeling intimidated instead of inspired. Emma listened to how I was feeling and gave me the support to find my style.
