Maddie is a warm inspiring teacher. She offers a wonderful combination of art history, technique, encouragement and supportive suggestions and instruction. Every term has a new theme to engage and stimulate you. For a real beginner like me her enthusiasm and positivity has been immensely helpful. She has a really sensitive and skillful way to engage and stretch all the class members who are often at rather different levels of experience.

I’ve attended a printmaking course years ago and was pleasantly surprised, learning and expanding my knowledge. I returned this year as a teacher-in-training because there's always so much to learn from Dubravka. The lessons are perfectly structured, with introductory and practical sections. The final section, which recaps the production process with comments and considerations, is wonderful. I recommend it to anyone who wants to start, continue, or improve their artistic practice.

I've been taking classes with the teacher Maddie regularly for about half a year now. I love that we are encouraged to approach painting and drawing as a creative process, even if you are an absolute beginner, and the syllabus and the exercises are always positioned in the context of classic and contemporary art. It's never boring, it's not a "standard" class where you paint cubes, vases and apples (which I think is not very suitable for adult students). The class is mixed level, the atmosphere is friendly, encouraging and inspiring (there are often at least a few quite advanced students in class). And last but not least, the schedule is very flexible.

I have been taking lessons with Maddie for about three years now and I love her classes. Maddie is an amazing teacher who balances teaching techniques with helping each of us find our own personal style. She listens and guides, never imposes her style or a particular technique, encourages us to express ourselves and gives each of us personalised advice. She is probably the best teacher I've had in my life!

I have been part of the Art Class London family for many years. It is fabulous!. I have recently started an additional class : Classical Drawing, with Tanja. If you enjoy drawing, and want to sharpen your skills with a challenging new discipline, this is the class for you. Tanja is so skilled, and extremely kind and encouraging.
