I had the pleasure of working with Tash and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and kind. While what i wanted wasn't on display, she found comparable products so I knew exactly what I was looking for. She even laughed at a few of my jokes. So as I write this from the comfort of my new recliner, Thank you Tash & Ashley furniture for making my experience smooth and painless.
I don't like to leave bad reviews but this has now gone way past a bad review. As you can see in my first image, my purchase date was 11/26/25. It is 12/27/25 and I still don't have the bed I purchased. The store staff was lovely and very helpful. So wonderful! It's the company's (The Wellsville Group) customer service and headquarters that is the problem. The bed that I did receive on 12/10/25 looks lovely but there are two problems with the bed in the photos that is now in my bedroom. 1. I ordered a black bed (to go with my black nightstands that I already had.) 2. The bed as shown in my bedroom that was delivered doesn't even exist. (the color combo). I did not realize the bed was the wrong color until after it was set up. I immediately looked at my receipt to make sure I had not made the mistake in the color or the in-store salesperson did not make the mistake.... and just as I had thought - I purchased the black bed. There was no mistake there. I called the customer service and I was told I would receive an email to submit images that day. I checked all my email (including my spam folder) and there was no email. That was my first issue. Wrong bed, okay. A customer service representative saying they will do something and then do not.... that is where the problem begins with me. Next day I called back and talked to someone else (in the store), he had a wonderful customer service person reach out, get the photos, actually understand what the problem was, etc. She ordered the new (black) bed and confirmed delivery for 12/26/25. The bed arrived at it's scheduled time by the delivery truck, but the delivery people could not set up the correct bed because the bolts were stripped by the people setting up the first wrong delivery. I talked to customer service and my bed then could not be scheduled for delivery for 4 more days (supposed to be Tuesday, 12/30/25. (Now well over a month from when I went to the Ashley store in Brooklyn, OH to purchase the bed.) I talked to customer service and explained how now this will be taking 3 mornings away from my life - while I am unemployed and job searching. Crazy to me how people who literally can't do their jobs have jobs and I'm searching for one. I told customer service I would be leaving reviews regarding this situation and their response, "We expect that." Being in high end donor engagement in the past - that is not the correct response in customer service. I loved my store experience but the company "corporate" is the reason I will never give my business to any Ashley store owned by "The Wellsville Group."
This is the second time I have made a sizeable purchase there. Vicky was our sales person. Very good and fun to work with. She makes sure all our needs were met and got us all the discounts possible.
Great associates and no pressure sales. They let us look around and we're available to help answer questions. They gave us some good advice when we were between two options. Definitely recommend this Ashley if you are looking for any type of furniture or mattress!
Fantastic experience, again! I love the way the staff works as a team. They helped me out multiple times and took care of me when it was go time! I’m a returning customer to Ashley because the furniture is top notch. I wouldn’t have had to return but my furniture was damaged by other forces. I recommend at least walking through and sitting on some couches, you’ll fall in love.
