Great process, booked next day. Turned up and my fault but my certificate expired however they let me rebook next day. Turned up next day, paperwork was ready for me signed and did test with 45 mins. Test route was good, a few hazards and stop signs in the way so felt like I got a good experience during a busy time. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I was told to go get the permit it was an entire process. I was told to go in and you just get it, No it’s an entire test and filling out documents at the DMV. Had I known I had to have a permit before hand I would’ve had it all in order before booking the original appointment. Do your research because if you don’t have what’s expected they will slap a reschedule fee on you. No one has time for that! 2nd let’s be respectful of clients time! Thankfully I’m able to make my own schedule but don’t expect me to be there 15 mins early and wait an additional 20 mins I have things to do as well! Or please communicate if you would be longer it’s RESPECT! Also I think be less stand offish it’s okay to be approachable you want folks to genuinely like the service and refer future clients. But anyway I did what I had to do and passed my driving test. Got my behind out afterwards. That’s all that mattered. The driving test was straight no complaints. Very easy. He was nice and easy going afterwards.. small talk was straight.
Using ATX Driving school for lessons was great, my instructor Dolon was lovely and attentive. However, the school is a little short staffed and often runs late when coming to take a driving test. My test went smoothly and I passed my test. (Edit to review: after completing my driving test, I was asked to fill out a google review while I waited to get my papers in order. I left a 3 star review (the one above) and was honest. The man helping me with my paperwork who was also my driving test examiner pulled up my review on his monitor and asked me to delete my 3 star review. When I told him I wouldn’t delete it, he tried to intimidate me by holding my passing grade hostage and not letting me leave with my paperwork. This was incredibly unprofessional. This was not the only unprofessional thing he did. He took a personal call for 10 minutes after the parallel parking section of the test. I would NEVER go back here.
This school offers tests on Saturdays which is important for people who works during the week. After the test there is good feedback if you did not pass. They offer a complementary second test. I would recommend to update your webpage indicating that the second test cannot be scheduled and that it is complementary, only one per day at 4pm and that you only have 30 days to take it again. I appreciate that the instructor was understanding on me coming a few times to take the second test and was able to accommodate me. Thank you for your hard work!
I actually wanted a reliable , trustworthy and honest driving school in austin and i stumbled upon this ATX Driving school. I went here for the adult driving test and I passed it . At first i was really nervous but after i realized it was so smooth and easygoing test. The routes are not difficult its decent and you must learn the rules properly before the test. I am happyy and excited that i got my drivers license in the first attempt. yayyyy!!!
