This shop is a reflection of Edmonton’s essence: smart, cozy, and a bit frostbitten. As a brain, it tries to save energy )) When it’s working, the store showcases chic installations that feature texts. When it's quiet, it simply covers the windows with sheets. Personally, I would appreciate having more seating/lying options to comfortably explore the books. Additionally, the product range could be more clearly defined, as it’s hard to say that everything here is unique. Overall, the shop closely aligns with Edmonton's rhythm and values.
Nicely laid out book shop, well curated selection of local authors which is nice to see. Helpful friendly staff, also stock other reading items too.
Love this store! I'm so glad I live close and often go browse what they have in stock. One of the employees yesterday when I went was very helpful and showed me where the book I was looking for was despite some physical challenges which she didn't need to do but I was very appreciative of her help! This place is so much more personal than Indigo etc. Please support them! :)
