I recently sent in film from my great-grandparents to get processed. Austin Camera & Imaging can do it all - and their technicians are VERY knowledgable !!! They took such great care and even returned the negatives to me. I greatly appreciated this, seeing as other processing centers I spoke to prior to picking Austin Camera said I would not be able to get the film back. The whole process had a very quick turnaround and was very reasonably priced and the most competitve!! I will continue to use them for all the other films I have hopes of getting processed !! 10/10 recommend - and will be referring all my other camera / film enthusiasts to them !!!
The only local lab that develop ECN-2 films! Love them! Very knowledgeable about all kind of 35mm films.
Nice selection of vintage cameras and film. They also have a few new digital printers etc. I didn’t try but they have a big plotter which you can print huge pictures which is kind of cool. The place smelled a little of chemicals.
Small store but good at what they do, everyone is very competent and film gets developed in a timely manner. The bathroom was free for public use which I appreciated. The back is a little cluttered and could use some sprucing up, but otherwise the front is very clean and has a nice selection of film and cameras.
Austin Camera has an incredible team of professionals who are just so incredibly knowledgeable about everything film. It was our first time working with film- and there is just so much artistry and technique behind scanning/ processing we didn't even consider. The team walked us through their tools, methods, and guided us in the right direction for the project. They even helped us color correct with no extra charge. I am really impressed by their entire operation. I wish we had operations like this in New York where I'm from. 1000% come here. They're wonderful! Come here!!!!
