I brought my son here for his Phase 2 of driving instruction. Shanna helped me get him signed up and she made scheduling his drive times very easy. Mr. Larry was his driving instructor, he taught my son so many good techniques and he made it fun for him while doing it. I HIGHLY recommend this driving school for any teen lessons and for drivers license testing!
I am so blessed to have found Austin Driving School (South Arlington location) so near to our house. Ms. Shanna, the office manager, is so knowledgeable and kind, and she helped me so much when I was signing both my kids up for lessons. I cannot say enough about Mr. Lewis, the driving instructor; he was so kind and patient with both of the kids. They said he gave easy-to-understand directions and explanations, was very calming, and was easy to work with. Mr. Larry, the other instructor, was very nice as well. If you have kids who are ready to begin driving, do yourself (and the kids) a favor and take them here to their South Arlington office for school and lessons. You will not be sorry, and your children will come out driving way ahead of the game! 5/5 stars, they are wonderful!
I went through here years ago and was glad to be able to provide my daughter the same experience. The office staff are very helpful and informative, and answer literally allllll the questions. The instructors are really sweet and helpful to the kids in the drivers Ed program. It was very reasonably priced and there was always available driving time. Classroom instruction was easy to follow, easy knowledge to retain. Would highly recommend for those who are in need of driving instruction! EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT HERE AND YOU NEED TO TAKE A DRIVING TEST YOU MAY DO THAT VIA AUSTIN DRIVING SCHOOL! ANY CLASS C DRIVING TEST NEEDS CAN BE MET AT THIS LOCATION!
Getting ready to drive on the road and testing to get a drivers license is a part of "adulting" that could be very stressful. Well, at Austin Driving School they have the right people to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible. Shanna, the Office Manager, is great! She is very informative and courteous with great happy energy. And Mr. Lewis is a great teacher, very calm, patient, knowledgeable and an absolutely great gentleman. Many people recommended ADS and I am so glad I listened! This is definitely your place to get your driving classes and road test (because they are a 3rd party DPS Road Tester as well!) You won't be disappointed!
I had such an amazing experience taking my road test at Austin Driving School! Ms. Shanna and Mr. Louis were incredibly friendly and professional. They made me feel calm and confident throughout the whole process. Their instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and they took the time to explain everything patiently. You can really tell they care about helping students succeed, not just passing the test. I highly recommend this school to anyone preparing for their driving test. they’re simply the best!
