⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Avalon City Imaging was an absolute dream from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely looked after. Caroline the makeup artist was so lovely, warm, kind and incredibly talented. She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable and confident straight away. David the photographer was just as amazing and created such a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. As someone who doesn’t usually feel at ease in front of the camera, I was genuinely surprised at how natural and enjoyable the experience felt. I never felt rushed or awkward, just encouraged the entire time. As a busy mum, it was honestly such a gift to be pampered and reminded that I can still feel confident, feminine and sexy. This was more than just a photo shoot, it was empowering, uplifting and so special. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and professionalism shown throughout and would recommend Avalon City Imaging to any woman wanting a beautiful experience and stunning images. Thank you to all at Avalon. Your support through this whole process has been really appreciated. Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again xx R

This boudoir experience was a 40th birthday gift from my partner to celebrate my age, my womanhood, my sexuality, surviving domestic violence as well as the connection and passion we share. It was also an investment in us as a couple, honoring everything we have been through together and overcome over the past 14 years. David made us feel comfortable from the start and allowed us to take the lead on what we wanted, encouraging originality throughout the session. His ability to capture my natural beauty and the passion between my partner and me was incredible!!! Set the tone for an amazing weekend away!! This experience helped me see my imperfections as what they actually are! Flawless perfections! Embracing every mark on my body and not hiding away from them! The viewing process was efficient and easy, and we ended up with only the highest-quality images. There was never any pressure or pushiness at any level. Our experience was above exceptional. If you are considering this experience, stop thinking and do it. You will not regret it. I recommend this team all the way and will absolutely use Avalon again for all of our professional photography needs. Thank you to Dave for a life changing experience.

I had an extremely terrible experience with a baby photoshoot session at this studio. It all started with an email claiming we had received a “gift Professional Photo Session valued at $500” after attending the Baby Expo. That sounded nice, but once we got there, everything went downhill. Although David, the photographer, was very friendly and nice during the shoot, the overall experience and outcome were extremely disappointing. The photographer was careless and completely unprofessional with newborn photography. He clearly had no real experience handling babies. The way he wrapped my baby was awful – he used such thin fabric that you could even see the diaper through it, and he didn’t even notice. Even though I brought sample photos of the style I wanted, he basically just copied them with no creativity or effort of his own. Honestly, the pictures I take at home with my phone look better than what he produced. Then came the so-called “selection session.” What a waste of time. He dumped 200–300 unremarkable photos on us and pressured us to pick some, only to reveal a shockingly overpriced menu. $250 for just ONE image? Outrageous. When we showed no interest, he pushed “special deals” and discounts, but it was pointless — we only ended up buying one single photo. I deeply regret not walking away at that point. To make matters worse, it took him a whole month to send us that “high resolution image.” The quality? Honestly worse than an iPhone shot, despite supposedly being “edited.” On top of that, he said we would also get one complimentary printed photo (size 5x7). I asked if it could just be emailed to us instead — since it’s easier to store and, despite the poor quality, at least I wanted one or two photos as keepsakes after wasting two sessions there. But when I emailed to request this, he turned around and said we would have to pay another $250 if we wanted that image sent digitally. At that point it was crystal clear: this studio has no heart, no professionalism, only a desire to squeeze as much money as possible from their clients. Absolutely shameful. This was, without doubt, the worst photo studio experience I’ve ever had. If you want beautiful, memorable photos of your baby without wasting money, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This place is nothing but disappointment and overpricing. If you look at a few other 1-star reviews of this studio, you’ll see that several people have had similar disappointing experiences with the Newborn Baby Session at Avalon. We will definitely never return and do not recommend this studio to anyone!

Dave is an amazing photographer, it's obvious he really enjoys what he does. The shoot was so much fun, very relaxed and comfortable. They have great spaces and all the staff we dealt with including Caroline in the office and over email were lovely. Made the whole process really easy and straightforward and we have some amazing photos we will cherish. Thanks so much guys!
