I recently started working out with Alyssa at Awaken and can’t say enough good things about my experience there. With her extensive background, she is extremely knowledgeable about the gym’s equipment, her client’s form and different exercises. She structures workouts specifically to my goals/areas of focus. My sessions with her have added so much variety to my exercise regimen and it makes the hour fly by! The gym is also super clean, updated and has lots of variety of equipment.
Todd is one of a kind! As someone who has been in health and wellness for many years, I have a high standard for my coaches / trainers! Todd goes above and beyond. Not only does he have a beautiful movement space but his knowledge, philosophies and passion go above and beyond. I’ve been working out with Todd for about 6 months now and have really enjoyed the workouts, both at the gym and the home program he wrote for me. He has really helped me improve form and timing of various lifts and I’ve noticed increased strength and muscle gain since working out at Awaken. Would highly recommend especially for those who feel like they’ve plateaued doing it on their own.
Training with Hannah at Awaken has been such an amazing investment. She is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. With Hannah’s help, I stayed active my entire pregnancy with training sessions that were safe, challenging, and tailored to my needs. I’m now 9 months postpartum, and she has continued to use her expertise to support me as I transitioned back into strength training. I owe Hannah 100% of the credit for the strength and confidence I feel in the gym postpartum. Everyone deserves to have a Hannah cheering them on. You won’t be disappointed in the team at Awaken!
I came to Todd after dealing with a herniated disc. I had been doing PT for a few months, but I wanted to build strength so these kinds of injuries would be less likely in the future. I was mostly healed when I started working with him, but he helped me through a few flare-ups early on. Todd knew I wanted to get stronger for climbing while keeping my back safe, and he really helped me do just that. He paid close attention to every movement, always checked in on how things felt, and made sure I was training safely. I feel way more confident in my training now and I’ve been able to get back to my regular activities without issues from my back. Todd is a fantastic trainer and I’d highly recommend him and this gym.
