I had an amazing experience at Awaken Wellness and Recovery. The space is beautiful, calming, and thoughtfully designed — it immediately puts you at ease. I tried their Cryotherapy, lymphatic compression therapy along with red light therapy and halotherapy, and I felt the difference right away. I left feeling lighter, less inflamed, and completely refreshed. The staff was professional, welcoming, and made the entire experience seamless. You can tell they truly care about both the results and the overall wellness experience. This is officially my new favorite place — highly recommend if you’re looking to elevate your recovery routine. I’ll definitely be back.

I was looking for a new stylist since the lady I was going to for 30 yrs. Just retied. I happen to be in the area and decided to check them out. I was pleasantly surprised and I was lucky to get Renata H. who was very patient with me and made sure she knew and understood what I wanted. I asked for her input and I took it and was pleasantly surprised with the result. I think I found my new stylist ☺️.

OK, so I came here for the first time looking to do a cryotherapy session. I knew the basics of what it was, but I had never been to a facility or tried it yet. ANDREW explained to me the process and took me into the room where they have the chamber. He explained to me how the process would work and how he would be in the room, but off to the side just to monitor. He mentioned that the best benefits are naked. So moving forward he asked me if I wanted to get ready to get in, and I said yes, but I didn't remove any clothing because I assumed he was going to either exit the room or give me a robe or something. He didn't, and then he mentioned again if I wanted to get ready to go in the chamber, so I was just like, oh OK. I started removing my clothing. To which he just stood, there, did not leave the room or offer me a robe. Once I was ready, I told him I was going to leave my undergarments on, but I was topless and he said that's fine and then handed me the gloves and slippers, etc.. I went in, and then came out. I went straight to my clothes to begin, putting them back on, and he began talking to me while I was putting my clothes back on and really gave me no privacy when it came to getting dressed or undressed. It was a bit uncomfortable but I was trying not to make it weird and In the moment, I didn't think too much of it because as I said, this was a process I was unfamiliar with but later it didn't quite sit right with me, so I called the other facilities and asked them to explain the cryotherapy process to me. Which most said that they do recommend little clothing and you are given a robe to put on when you enter or exit the chamber. He did not offer me a robe at all. Then, I decided to call that facility, and I asked the receptionist to explain their process to me (not mentioning I had recently been there) and in her explanation of the entire process, she said that they recommend being naked for the most benefits, but that you were given a robe to take off once you were in the chamber and put back on before you exit the chamber. Andrew took advantage of the fact that I was new to the process and purposely withheld a robe from me. Its creepy that he didn't offer me the robe or gave me any privacy when according to his front staff, they give robes out. Be aware of men who take advantage of situations like this. Straight up sexual misconduct. It’s gross and desperate.
