Nancy was very knowledgeable in helping our Golden with his reactivity. With trining class he is now able to join the pack walk with minimal barking and pulling. The pack walk has been an welcoming environment for us and our dog to work on skills learned.

Coco was very anxious, nervous and all over the place before the training. We dreaded walking him as he was lunging, pulling and barking at any dog he sees. We were so frustrated as it was impossible to sit him in a class with other dogs. One on one training with Nancy made “life-changing” impact on our lives. We see him more focused, confident and happy now. And us too! It’s so worth it!

Nancy changed our lives. Our almost 1 year old Golden Retriever was taking play biting so far that it was too stressful to walk him. I always had a pair of gloves on to protect my hands. Not to mention all the pulling on the leash. Nancy gave us the right tools and taught us how to walk him without pulling and curb the biting. She taught us how to give our dog boundaries and be calm at the same time. Now I feel confident on the walks and we walk well together. We're still working hard to practice everything we've learned and to get all the socialization and exercise for our fur ball. Nancy was also so much fun to work with. P.S. I have retired the gloves 🙂

Nancy Lynn is amazing and understands dogs so well. She is great at sharing her knowledge to train us humans how best to work with our beloved dog family members. Our new puppy is was very shy and timid by nature and she helped us understand how best to work with our lovely Willow. I would not hesitate to recommend Awesome K9 to anyone who wants to learn more about themselves and their dog to gain the best dog human relationship experience.

On the recommendation of a co-worker, we booked the Proven Puppy training program to help with our new puppy, specifically to work on potty training, reduce his biting and walking on a leash. We have raised a few dogs but it’s been a while since we experience the puppy stage as we’ve been more used to senior dogs. We wrapped up our sessions about a month ago, but have been practicing with our puppy since attending. Overall, he is a much better listener since attending the training sessions and practicing at home. He's more consistent in coming when he's called, much gentler in playing and getting better on his leash with every walk. He’s even gotten into some agility training! It’s really rewarding to see him learn and respond so positively – such a smart boy! Getting a new puppy can be overwhelming. We found it really helpful to work with Nancy-Lynn and learn the steps towards getting good behaviour and responses, rather than punishing bad behaviour. Although some lessons were challenging, including using the leash, we found her approach to be very clear, consistent and kind, which we appreciated. We found that breaking down the steps to be very helpful and we, as humans, learned just as much as our puppy did! We’re looking forward to attending a pack walk in the warmer weather as we continue to work on his training. We would recommend Nancy-Lynn to any owner of a new puppy who’s looking for a solid base of basic training!
