I don’t even know if words can fully express how happy I am that I found Leslie and her team at Backstage Makeup Professionals. She isn’t just a makeup artist… she’s someone who has helped me feel confident, beautiful, and genuinely myself during some of the most meaningful moments in my life. Leslie and her incredible team have created my hair and makeup looks for my stepson’s wedding, my husband’s surprise 60th, a dear friend’s birthday celebration, and even quiet, romantic dinners with my husband. Each time, they don’t just “do my makeup” or “style my hair”… they pour their hearts into making each moment special. Somehow, Leslie always knows exactly what I need, even when I don’t. Her talent is extraordinary, but it’s her kindness, calm energy, and genuine passion that make her unforgettable. With her, there’s a trust that lets me fully relax. She always knows how to make me feel beautiful. I always walk away not only looking my best, but feeling my absolute best! I highly, highly recommend her and her amazing team.

If you want to look and feel your best, you have to work with Backstage. The artists are real professionals - able to nail whatever look it is that you are going for. Even if you aren't sure what exactly you want, they will help you discover it. They don't play around or waste time - they are focused on delivering perfection each time you sit with them - whether it is hair or makeup - they are exceptional artists and the most talented creatives. For my bridal makeup and hair, I had booked with a different company but was not happy after the trial (should have had a trial before booking). Even though I had put money into the first company, I discovered Backstage afterwards, and ended up going with Backstage even though I was not going to get my money back from the first company. It was WORTH it. Backstage artists are soooooo much better and the pricing is unbelievably reasonable! If you are unsure about visiting Backstage, don't be - they are the best in Dallas. I can guarantee this, and I am a very picky client.

Leslie did my makeup for court house wedding/engagement photos. She did an amazing job. I told her I wanted a natural look gave her an inspo pic. She executed perfectly. Thank you Leslie!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this team! They did my hair and makeup for my summer wedding, along with my entire bridal party and our moms, and absolutely everyone looked and felt incredible. From the very first trial to the wedding day, they were professional, warm, organized, and so attentive to what each person wanted. They really took the time to enhance everyone’s natural beauty while still keeping everything cohesive and timeless. Despite the summer heat, our hair and makeup lasted perfectly from morning till late into the night. Beyond their incredible talent, they brought such a calm, fun, and positive energy that made getting ready one of my favorite parts of the whole day. I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself, and I know my bridesmaids and moms felt the same. Thank you from the bottom of my heart — I couldn’t have asked for a better team!
