Courtney did an amazing job with our 4 year old stubborn Rottie. During the training she provided multiple updates with pictures and videos. After the training, she gave us extensive instructions and worked with us to make sure that our girl had a successful transition back into our home. She has even stayed in touch with us and welcomed further questions and follow ups as needed. We will absolutely be using Courtney and Backyard Canine Academy again!

Aisha worked with Ruger for the duration of the board and train. I was very happy that he was comfortable and at ease working with her since he can be a very anxious dog. Ruger always gets compliments when out in public for being very well-behaved thanks to his training. Highly recommend and would definitely bring him in for another training session.

The board and train program really helped Kozmo with his reactivity and obedience. Courtney was wonderful with training him, communicating with us and training us as well. We can take him places without worrying now. He listens to us no matter the situation and we can even have off leash fun as well. Thank you so much! We are beyond satisfied with this service.

I was blessed to receive Nacho, my Belgian Malinois-German Shepherd mix, from Backyard Canine Academy, and I can’t say enough great things about this program. Chris and Aisha are amazing trainers and even better people. As a veteran-owned company, they truly go above and beyond to support veterans and make a difference. Nacho came to me incredibly well-trained — fully obedience trained, crate trained, and potty trained. He listens, follows commands, and has such a disciplined yet loving temperament thanks to their hard work and dedication. The level of professionalism, passion, and care that Backyard Canine Academy puts into every dog is unmatched. I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to have Nacho as part of my life and for everything this team does for veterans and their canine companions. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and heart-driven training academy!

Aisha did an amazing job with our Bruno! He is a half Belgium Malinios half German Shepherd.He was donated to us through a veteran nonprofit organization and trained by Backyard Canines. He came ready to go, sit, stay, heal, lay, and he has great recall. He listens very well and is my best friend. He goes every where I go. I have continued his training and he is on his way to becoming my full time service dog. He has quickly become a part of the family.
