I have been a long time user of Bang and Olufsen products for 25+ years. I’ve been dealing with the Bang and Olufsen store on Newberry Street. Isaac Broadbery has been wonderful to deal with. He is personable, knowledgeable and very professional. He helped me multiple times with technical support to get my earbuds, headphones, and the level all set up. Bang and Olfsen should be very proud of having him be part of the team.

I was very disappointed with my visit. I came in intending to purchase a specific pair of headphones after doing thorough research, but the customer service I experienced was rude, pretentious, and dismissive. When I asked reasonable questions about the headphones’ structure and proper care, I was laughed at and told, ‘Nobody asks these kinds of questions.’ I was also interrupted multiple times and unnecessarily corrected over ‘incorrect color references.’ Instead of admitting uncertainty or looking up information, the associate repeated that ‘nobody asks these things,’ which came across as both unhelpful and condescending. I understand I may not represent the store’s typical customer, but that is not an excuse for treating anyone in this manner.

As a longtime B&O customers with multiple products from them, I’ve never actually went to one of their showroom. But during a trip to Boston, I had the chance to go and listen to some speakers that I never listened to before, particularly the A9, and it was a fantastic experience. The rep took time with me to listen to each product that I was interested to, right before closing time, and I really appreciated it and enjoyed this experience. Thanks again, I’ll certainly come back when I pass by again.

Did a bunch of research and decided that Beoplays HX were for me. Bob took very good care of me and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience! He showed me how to use the app, let me try the headphones and was super friendly & informative about warranties. Would definitely recommend coming in to check them out!
