I recently visited Banya No.1 – Hoxton, and it was genuinely one of the most refreshing and restorative wellness experiences I’ve had in London. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, calming, and authentically traditional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, guiding me through the whole experience with ease. The facilities are spotless, well-organised, and beautifully designed to create a true Russian banya feel. I tried the parenie treatment, and it was outstanding — invigorating, unique, and far more enjoyable than I expected. The cold plunge afterwards was the perfect finish. I also loved the relaxation area; it’s cosy, peaceful, and a great space to unwind between sessions. The food and drinks were a pleasant surprise too — fresh, delicious, and a great complement to the overall wellness vibe. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a proper wellness escape in the heart of the city.

Incredible spa experience. Small and friendly. Therapeutic relaxation in the heart of London. The food is first class! We had the Borsch, dumplings , salmon and pickles with georgian red wine, and apple pancakes to finish - delicious! The hosts are attentive and professional. Don’t miss the parenie- all your aches and pains will be gone! Feel as fresh as a new baby

This experience was absolutely Amazing and lovely. The staff where really accommodating and respectful. The place was clean and so much culture. The ice bath itself was a hole experience. The banya hat was really helpful to wear inside the sauna, you don’t feel your head burning. I also had a body scrub which left my body clean and relaxed. Location is perfect there’s a bus stop 3 min away.

The experience was wonderful from start to finish, largely due to the staff who seamlessly guide you through your visit. It was a perfect mix of relaxing and exhilarating. Everywhere was very clean. All treatments were great. Will definitely be back and excited to try the traditional food. Thankyou very much 😊

Visited with mate last week. Totally different experience to other places in London. Perfect combination of traditional Banya with really nice surroundings and spot on hygiene. The staff are really friendly and made the whole thing a great experience. I managed to leave my flip flops behind and they took the time to find them for me. Reasonably priced drinks were welcome too. Will definitely return.
