I usually really like this location and the staff is always friendly. This time I didn't realize someone had cut the manga. It's such a clean cut, it looks like they must have cut it while opening the box. It's disappointing because I expect pristine, new manga from Barnes and Noble. I expect damaged manga when I go to discounted second hand stores. Cut goes through the front and the first few pages. Update: Now they are putting non removable stickers in my Manga. Fantastic. May as well stick to second hand stores with better prices.

Barnes & Noble at Briargate is one of my favorite places in Colorado Springs. The store is spacious, well organized, and incredibly easy to spend hours in without realizing it. The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy, which makes the whole experience pleasant. Their book collection is excellent, and the magazine section is especially impressive with a wide variety of titles. I also really like their board and card game area—it has a diverse selection that’s great for families and game lovers alike. One standout feature is their discounted books section. You can find amazing books at very low prices, especially children’s books, which makes it a great stop for parents looking to build a reading habit without spending a lot. Having a Starbucks inside is a big plus too—grabbing a coffee and browsing books is the perfect combination. The location is convenient, parking is easy, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Highly recommended for book lovers and families alike.

Amazing customer service. Aspen was amazing ! In a store full of people when I asked her for help looking for Godzilla merchandise she didn’t pass me off. She searched her system and pointed me In direction of books but went even further to check her back stock inventory to make sure I didn’t leave empty handed. She went truly above and beyond to make sure we were happy. It didn’t matter that there was complete shopping chaos she continued to help us until we were satisfied. 100% recommend this location. Job well done !

Every associate I interacted with was kind and helpful (especially considering the holiday rush). I especially want to thank the young lady in Customer service for going above and beyond for a simple illusive item.

I absolutely love coming to this Barnes & Noble! The atmosphere is calm and inviting. it's the perfect place to browse, read, or just unwind. The staff is always helpful and accommodating, ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. The store is incredibly clean (even the bathrooms are spotless!), and the shelves are always neat and well-organized. It’s one of those places you can easily spend hours in.
