Just had an amazing breakfast with my husband at Batter Up on Nees/Cedar! We got the chili verde omelette, pumpkin cinnamon roll pancake, chicken fried steak and a tasty bowl of fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries. Best of all was the service. Shaunte took excellent care of us: making sure coffee and waters were always full, that our food tasted exactly how we ordered it (I like my omelettes soft cooked) and was wonderfully pleasant as a person. I went to pay compliments to the manager and it was Shaunte! If she is running the place - every dining experience there will satisfy and feel like home 🏡 😊 💜

After a grand ol flag of an adventure through Yosemite we knew we had to have some hearty food. My lady and I took her parents who were visiting from Japan and they were just blown away. Obviously because everything in Japan is tiny. But even for myself and my lady, these pancakes were ginormous! Service was fantastic - so quick and personable. We'll definitely come again in the future. Inside/Outside - 4/5 Twas a hot day and of course Batter Up had some misters going. Plenty of folks were sitting outside. Inside had great large tables with pretty comfy seating. Definitely an old diner feel. My lady's parents loved the place. Service - 5/5 Batter Up was justifyingly busy. So many people were coming in and out. Food was served so quickly. And each staff - although incredibly busy - took their time to chat with each of their tables. Especially our waitress who asked us about recommendations for Japan. Food - 5/5 Out. Of. This. World. We had 2 pancake plates in total - The Hawaiian; Apple Cinnamon Chip Crunch - and a salad and burger. The menu provides a great description of the plates. Overall we recommend all the dishes and can't wait to come back to try the others. The pancakes were fluffy and there were plenty of extra ingredients baked within. My mouth is watering thinking about them. TL;DR - Great hearty food - Awesome service with staff talking to each table - Easy seating, even outside - Recommend all pancakes! Be ready for leftovers~ (copied from my Yelp review)

Definitely a popular place, so I do recommend getting here early. Once seated, you have options galore for lunch and breakfast. I had The Intimidator and that was delicious with some maple syrup. Their pancakes are super fluffy and I do recommend you try them.
