Inappropriate instructors and inconvenient drive times. The instructor for one of my son's classes last week was talking about teen boys committing suicide because of girls....? He also spent ample time discussing his favorite kind of juice....is this what we're paying hundreds of dollars for?? The drive times offered are limited and if you don't sign up for ALL five required drives as soon as the calendar opens, your child will end up missing actual school to go on the drives, because the only times available are on weekdays during school/work hours. Hopefully you have a forgiving work schedule so you can transport them to and from. Lots of room for improvement with this company.
I have had the worst experience with these schools not once but twice. The class is pointless, the homework doesn't prove anything, they don't even have to turn it in, it's all done in virtual classes. They don't prepare the kids for the written test at all. They give them 5 drives with instructors that are merely judging their driving not actually teaching them to drive. Parents are paying for a driving school but the parents are expected to teach their kids so the instructors can judge them. My daughter did all 5 of her drives without glasses, never once being told she had to wear her glasses that she only wears for reading but then on the day she is set up for her drive test, they refuse to let her drive without the glasses and charge a cancellation fee!!! The only thing good about these schools is that they give them the opportunity to take the test as many times as they need but the fact they charge $25 each time is over the top and though they include the first written test as part of the class, you still have to pay for the driving test. I would like to know what my $530 at the valley location 2023 and Grand location 2025 $630 was actually paying for because it definitely didn't go to any actual teaching done by this program. B and B driving school is a scam and I would not recommend it to anyone. I gave it a second chance at a different location but it doesn't matter the location, don't give these people any of your money, it's a scam!!!
Had the most gross experience there. My son and I are trying to navigate this new venture together. We came up to the South Hill location to gather paperwork as his teacher instructed. We are brand new to this, and I prompted my son to go in on his own, ask questions and gather the papers. You know, getting our kids ready for the road and independence. The man at the front desk said to my son, "who the HELL are you, I don't know who the hell you are." There was more unpleasant things said that I won't share and my son came out just baffled. We found out later we were supposed to get the assignments online. Mistake was our bad. All he had to say was some guidance to the situation, not berate a child. So unacceptable and gross. Do not send your children to this location. This incident happened at 1 PM on 6/18/25
Taking one of my students to his driving test today. I’m hoping he doesn’t get this notorious Mr. Williams. Noticed repeated warnings about him dating back years and as recent as 4 months ago. I’m guessing no one at the site reads the reviews. There are no responses to customer observations.
MR. WILLIAMS who issued my driving test was very unprofessional, aggressive, and rude and mistreated me during my test by yelling at me multiple times. I was never treated this way in my life, yet by a person who I’m paying for a service. After reviewing the previous reviews (including the last one by Isabelle) I’m not the only person who was mistreated by this person. It looks like he has some behavioral issues and he should NOT be doing this “training” profession with such bad manners. I’ll report this person to the Washington DMV and also report B&B Driving School for not taking any action against this person despite the consistent negative feedback from clients. I recommend anyone to avoid interacting with this person and this school at all costs.
