The worst thing about this bookstore is its name. I can never remember it. It probably means something but I am out of the loop. If you can get past the name, bbgb is an great bookstore for children in the heart of Richmond's Carytown. It is not huge but it has an excellent curated collection where readers of all taste can find something appealing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; they will help guide you to a choice if you are not sure what you are looking for. Loyalty discounts are available to repeat customers.

Wonderfully cozy bookstore for kids. Its organization is perfect to navigate between ages, and they carry such a variety of reading levels. Plus they offer an educator discount, which is mad appreciated when securing texts for the classroom.

The owner and staff of this store are so helpful and nice! I was in need of a last minute gift for my family's friend's kids that were visiting from Germany and they recommending two coloring books that looked very cool to me! The staff wrapped them up so quickly and nicely. Any time you need a children's gift you should buy it here. It helps a great small business and helps kids learn to read.

Such a beautiful bookstore. You’ll find books that aren’t anywhere else - definitely not big box bookstores. They constantly have different collections out; it’s different every time I’ve come in. And the children’s play area with the tent, magnatiles, and coloring area is seriously top notch. Just such a lovely kid’s bookstore! A real asset to the area!
