What a gem! I stayed for 4 nights and was so happy I chose to stay here over a faceless hotel chain. The location is fantastic, just about a 10 minute walk from the beach. The house is lovely, with antique furniture, historic photos of Long Beach, and just an overall cozy vibe. If you're charmed by historic homes, this is your place. My room was comfortable, very clean, and had all that I needed for a pleasant stay - including an adorable little iron and ironing board! Staying on the south side of the building, there was a little bit of street noise from Broadway, but I put in some earplugs and slept perfectly fine. I had a key code for the front door and my room, which takes away the worry of losing a key or key card. As a big morning breakfast person, I was so happy to start each day with Pat's home cooked breakfast. The spread always included a small dish of cut fruit (not just melons!), toast, a savory entree, tea, coffee, juice, and cereal. Best of all, Pat was so nice to talk to! Very highly recommended.

Miss Pat and her family are truly lovely people, and what a clean, gorgeous property! Fantastic location, and the hospitality was second to none. Should we have occasion to be in Long Beach again, we will enthusiastically book here again!

Excellent location and accommodations! Clean comfortable rooms in a quaint setting. Pat and her daughter were great hosts, offering dining tips and lively conversation. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Long Beach. I am looking forward to my return to the Beach Runner's Inn. Thank you!

I am very please to say that our visit at The Beachrunners' Inn was just what the Dr. ordered! My 2 sisters and I were attending to a family matter, that was compounded by a separate family matter, which only created additional stress, etc., but the Inn was our saving grace. Pat was so hospitable, and gracious. Her home is charming - the location ideal. We walked to our dinner. I enjoyed a very long beach walk (3 blocks away), our breakfast was delicious. It was the perfect setting, considering our situation. I felt at home, and my mind, body and spirit was grateful.

A wonderful old house with a cozy atmosphere. Nicely decorated clean rooms. The location is great, close to the beach and not far from Downtown Long Beach. Breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared. Pat is a lovely and unobtrusive host. We were so glad that she shared her home with us :)
