I had a very negative experience at Belli Belli Salon in San Diego. When I first arrived, I was greeted by my stylist’s assistant, who asked what I wanted my hair to look like. I showed her a reference photo. This ended up being the only consultation I had. When the stylist came over, she immediately started working on my hair without discussing my goals. I tried to explain what I wanted, but she cut me off and said, “Don’t worry, I’m good at my job.” While I’m sure she has experience, it’s impossible to deliver what a client wants without listening. The comment felt dismissive and, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. It quickly became apparent that she was in a rush. She told the assistant they were about to be triple booked, which was concerning. As someone paying a significant amount of money for my hair, it’s incredibly frustrating when a stylist is working on multiple clients at once - especially when it affects the end result. Because she was juggling several people, she worked extremely fast, so fast that bleach was flung onto my pants multiple times. I’ve been getting my hair done for years and understand that mistakes can happen. However, when mistakes happen because a stylist is rushing through an appointment to move on to other clients, it’s unacceptable and extremely frustrating. At the end of the appointment, my hair was dried by the assistant (who was genuinely very sweet), but it was left completely unstyled. I passed my stylist on the way out as she was blow-drying another client’s hair, and she never actually looked at the final result of mine. In total, I probably spoke about five sentences to her during the entire visit. Ultimately, my hair looks okay-ish, but it’s nowhere near what I wanted because the stylist never asked and I wasn’t given the opportunity to give proper input. I also have several pieces that look severely damaged, likely from being left to process too long while multiple clients were being juggled. I've been getting my hair done since I was 12 and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

Desi is THE BEST! I love her. She’s such a smart hair stylist, sees the hair and the cut with vision and then follows through with skill. And she works with integrity and gets things just right. She so sweet and a really good person. It’s always a blessing to see her!! Belli belli as a whole is a nice salon with good atmosphere. I also love the products they use and always get a conditioning treatment for frizz and hydration, which has really improved the texture and hydration of my hair. All around 5 stars!

Courtney Rae at Belli Belli is amazing! She’s so kind, gentle, and thoughtful; her scalp massage and hair wash were the best I’ve ever had, and she was so careful that not a drop of water got on my face or ears. She even gave a little shoulder massage and offered me an array of drink options before my blow dry. Our conversation was so genuine, and I left feeling pampered and happy. I wish I lived closer. I’d book with her every time!
