I ate here while visiting Pittsburgh for a wedding . The wedding hosts served Bennys large boxes of pizza at their rehearsal dinner and they are truly massive (I’d never seen them before being from out of town) , it was a great idea for a party. I came by the store in south side flats to grab a slice the next day. I ordered the Italian sausage slice. For the price ($6) it’s a great lunch option- very filling and tasty.

Good thin crust pizza made from a large 28 inch pizza dough. It has a strong underlying parmesan flavor and pairs well with hot sauce. I wish the crust was a bit more firm. It reminds me of a typical college town pizza place that serves up slices all hours of the night. Most people would think it is average tasting pizza, but I bet the college crowd treasures it.

Benny Fiero's is no doubt fire 🔥! The slices are literally massive, the cheese the right balance of flavor and "feel", and the crust is thin and Goldilocks crispy, just right! The spot is a neat old building with tall ceilings and cozy window front seating. Good vibes and great customer service. Plus the prices are a steal, 6 bucks for what is easily 2.5 normal slices. Benny's is unforgettable, one slice and you're hooked!

The pizza was very good. Chewy crust, not too greasy, and the slices were HUGE. My son and I both ordered 2 slices of pepperoni, but we each were only able to eat one. Each slice was 6 bucks, which I thought was a good deal. The guys manning the counter were polite and helpful, and we got our pizza in under 10 minutes.
