Been here a long time. Even though the books are not strictly in alphabetical order, it adds to the adventure. Can’t wait to read what we bought

Love Bent Books. Picked up a nice copy of a Henry Rollins book when I was visiting family in Brisbane recently. Friendly staff and gorgeous atmosphere.

We are visiting from Melbourne and set aside one day for second hand book shopping. Image our delight when we discovered Bent Books in the West End. What a gorgeous little shop it is. And there's an overflow room out back with even more books 📚. All genres are represented and all the books are in immaculate condition. I found some books I hadn't read from some of my favourite authors and my teenager was in her element finding her favourites in YA, fantasy and romantacy genres. If you haven't been before, MAKE TIME to go and find your favourites. If you have been before GO BACK. Support your local, small, female led businesses. ALWAYS. Thanks for being amazing.

Expensive and not far off retail prices I bought five items and asked if there was a deal for buying in bulk—just a small discount would’ve done, even $2—but was met with a frosty response. I justified the price to myself because I’d rather reuse than buy new. It’s better for the environment, and I prefer to support local rather than give my money to big corporations or shop online. Unfortunately, I think the owner missed an opportunity here. Acknowledging the bulk buy and making the experience of buying local a bit more rewarding could’ve gone a long way.

Small and adorable old book store. A lot of social sciences and fiction books. I found a few cool books in the art section. Reasonable price too.
