I used them for like a year and the cleanings were fine and the online portal was easy to use which I liked. They were late for the past several cleans, which made me late for my appointments. They give an hour window for their arrival - what is the point of an arrival window if you’re going to be late anyway? Both times I was not notified until after the window had passed. This last time, the cleaner left yellow stains on my floor that I cannot get off. Ruined my floors and I asked for a refund. They are denying it was them and that the stains were not there when their cleaner was done. I was home when the cleaner left and saw the stains. I’m very annoyed by the lack of accountability from this group considering they ruined my floors and I feel like they should be offering to fix it, instead they are denying the refund for the service that caused it. Do not use go somewhere else.

Berry Clean blew my mind with how thorough their clean was. The team worked incredibly hard, when you request they sanitize, they Sanitize! Floor to ceiling, not a dusty bunny left behind. My mirrors are spotless, the fixtures and sparkling, the tubs and sinks shine, the floors could be eaten off of, everything smells heavenly, and my refrigerator looks brand new. Angel made my kitchen look showroom ready and got out counter stains that were there when I moved in. I didn't get the other two individuals names, but they were equally fantastic. They made home feel even homier. They are worth every penny and more, I will definitely schedule them again.
UPDATE - Since publishing this one star review, BerryClean’s management reached out to address my concerns. They were professional, empathetic and solutions oriented. I agreed to give them another shot and they’ve since given my condo a few great cleanings, and given their team’s commitment to making it right, I intend to continue working with them. If you have a bad experience, just reach out and they should be very responsive as they were with me. *** I really wanted to like BerryClean, because they are not only local to the neighborhood but also they appear to pay fairly and provide benefits to their employees. But today, I got a deep cleaning (required for the first clean), and for a 1BR/1.5BA it was $600. That’s just the start. The cleaning technically started at 10:30AM and ended at 5:20PM. We visited our condo after three hours of cleaning to see if it was ready, and our door was locked. When we unlocked it, we found the cleaners eating lunch at our breakfast bar and watching tv on their phones. Then, we gave them more time to clean, and at about 5pm we got a call that the cleaning was almost done. When we got home, one of the cleaners was in our bathroom and I believe clogged the toilet because the other cleaner followed her into the bathroom and they were using multiple towels to clean up water on the floor and try to flush the toilet. Moreover, my husband started to feel under the weather and I texted the cleaners to ask for an update. I was told that they don’t have an exact time but will let me know then they have an update. I never heard anything so I followed up, and only then did I receive an update from the cleaners directly — not the office. Overall, the cleaning was good, but the customer experience was really rough. I also think it’s inappropriate to not respond to our request for an estimate on how long the cleaning would take, to clog our toilet, and to eat lunch in our home when we’ve scheduled a cleaning. Finally, I think the pricing is quite unfair. $600 for a 1BR is extreme. I have shared this feedback with management and hope that we can come to a resolution that’s favorable, and that this experience isn’t representative of the brand.
I used Berry Clean for over five years — yes, five — and like most doomed relationships, it started out promising. They somehow convinced me $275 a month for a single clean was reasonable. At the time, it almost felt worth it. But like any toxic romance, the red flags slowly revealed themselves — starting with a revolving door of cleaners. Spoiler: they can’t keep staff. Why? Probably because they underpay them and then leave them awkwardly waiting in your lobby like forgotten luggage. Professional. But what really broke me was the blatant disregard for instructions. I left detailed bilingual notes (English and Spanish) with clear directions: how to reinstall the stove grates, where to put the dog beds after cleaning, what areas to focus on. You know, simple stuff. Instead? I’d come home to grimy tiles, misplaced items, and a general aura of “we tried…ish.” Apparently, “clean” is a relative term at Berry. By the way… I gave management tons of feedback on their work… And just to add insult to injury: they charge you before the job is even done. Why? Because some customers didn’t pay. So their solution? Punish everyone by pre-billing and hoping for the best. Cute business model. The final cherry on this dust-covered sundae (which you’re choking on like a hairball)? They slap a picture of a puppy on their van — presumably to be “adorable” — but frankly, it’s fitting. Because if Berry Clean were that dog, it’d be the one who still needs basic obedience training. Save yourself the time, the money, and the disappointment. Berry Clean is a messy breakup waiting to happen.
