Great shop to work with! They are Friendly, knowledgeable, and great customer service. They were happy to answer all of my questions, and go in depth about whatever i was asking. And after all was said and done my vehicle came out running smoothly. I will be going back to them 100% if and when i ever have any issues arise again.

When my 2016 Ford Explorer was making a noise that I could not ascertain, the first place I hought of taking it to was Bert's Gene Brown Transmission Shop. They've done prior work for me and the results were always positive. A Ford dealer scheduled an appointment almost two weeks out but I could not wait that long. Bert's allowed me to drop the vehicle off at my convenience. The mechanics' expert troubleshooting skills discovered the noise was from the rear wheel hubs. I was quickly informed of their findings and given a repair quote, which I approved. The repair actually took longer than expected but they stuck by their original quote. Once the repairs were done I was promptly notified and was able to pick my vehicle up without too much downtime. I've come to expect nothing but the best workmanship, integrity and friendliness from Bert's. I will continue to take my vehicles there when repairs are needed and I highly recommend Bert's Gene Brown Transmission for automotive repairs and service.

I was referred to a Bert Gene Brown Transmission buy a veteran mechanic is San Antonio. These guys quickly rebuilt an original transmission on my 1956 Cadillac. The shop manager responded to my texts everyday including after hours calls. They allowed me to come in weekly and talk to the technician who worked on my car and get updates from the source. After the rebuild I’ve driven the car 500 miles and she drives better than ever. I’ll be back. Go see these guys. They can fix it all

Thank you Tony for the awesome job in co-ordinating our transmission rebuild and timing belt replacement. We couldn't be happier with the results and how great our experience was. From the fair price to the integrity of the repair our 2005 Pacifica drives fantastic. A special shout out to Domingo for his expertise for a top notch repair and any rest of the team that assisted. It is such a comfort to find a repair facility that takes pride in their work and makes sure their customer is well taken care of. Our car was spotless upon return, that was a surprise. :) Will be our to go facility for future repairs and highly recommend to anyone ! (Of special note, this review comes from a 45 year ASE certified mechanic, so my words speak volumes for my expectations).
