I was traveling in San Diego and needed a haircut fast, I was able to book an appointment with Candice the day before on their website, which was great because I had a small window of time to get a cut. My hair was pretty long and shaggy, and Candice got me a great cut and style, my hair looks much better!
Bespoke is such a gem! I went to Candice to get my hair done - I’m always a little nervous because it’s hard to find people comfortable with coarser curly hair (and I have a lot of it). Candice was amazing, from detangling my curls in the bowl post wash/condition, to blow drying it quickly, and flat ironing it with ease! She also did a great cut for me, which I needed after over 9 months of procrastinating while looking for a new salon and stylist! I was shocked when I realized I was there LESS THAN TWO HOURS! She is quick, efficient, really educated in all types of hair and she encourages her staff to be educated too! The salon atmosphere is warm, friendly, and immaculately clean. I am so grateful to Candice and her team for always taking care of my mom, and now me! Pricing is super fair and competitive and they even offer specials on some weekdays for add on treatments if you do blowouts, cuts or color. It is so nice to find an upscale salon that is accessible and on point! I can’t wait for my next appointment! Thank you, Candice and the Bespoke team!
I have been going to Freddie for years. And the reason I’ve stayed loyal to him, is because not only is he the best barber in SD, but he actually cares and forms relationships with his clients. He see’s me as someone he can catch up with. I always enjoy getting cuts with him. I recommend him and his staff to everyone
Ok…Let me just say I have been to plenty of salons in the San Diego area. Never have I ever been to one that is so roomy and welcoming like Bespoke! There is a great waiting area with a full size south and chairs in the middle, and they’ll even provide a complimentary glass (or two in my case) of red or white wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages! The salon is not only stylish, the stylists are both friendly and creative! They accommodated my wife and I when our stylist canceled last minute, and Shayla and Trina did a superb job of our updos for the event we had tonight! A big concern in downtown San Diego is always parking. Not here! The parking is widely available and is a pretty quiet area just across from the El Cortez Condos. It’s clean, safe, friendly, and just about everything a person could ask for when looking for a top-rated salon! Carina, my stylist, also does makeup, so be sure to ask for that when you call, because rarely do you find a place that does both hair AND makeup! The bathrooms are spacious, multi-stalled, and very clean! Although we did not use the shampoo sinks, there are multiple ones in a nice, spacious area towards the back of the salon with dim lighting that offers a respite to overworked eyes that get tired of the constant bright lights! Fairly priced, kind, conversational, creative…so many great qualities about this place! 12/10 recommend! This will be my new salon from now on!
I was visiting from out of town and randomly decided to finally get a haircut and cover my grays. After a quick google search and availability, I booked an appointment with Carina. She did an amazing job and brought me all of the snacks! When some of my hair was resistant to the dye, she had zero issues trying a different type for my hair and was so kind! The front desk was helpful, and the owner has a great playlist. Now, I’m home with fresh hair!
